Just realised I've got a day off today :D , unless any match is over within 2 sessions.

Relax, put your feet up and watch some snooker without working out frame difference as you go :D

At 1 point today, I thought I was going to have to put in Ronnie's win, but all credit to Mark Williams for pulling back the final 2 frames.

I should concede that when the player values came out from the calculation I did look at Ronnie & due to his lack of form over the past few years I let it go, but maybe I should have upped his value a little. Never mind, everyone had the same entry form to enter from.

I'm Welsh but it annoys me that Terry Griffiths always commentates on Welsh players or players he works with. He should pay the BBC to work.

Has he been behind yet? He does look in good nick, granted, but let's see what happens if Robertson can apply a bit of pressure.

Just been watching a bit of Trump v Carter. Are there bonus points for most missed pots this year?

Looks like Trump is out.

Ronnie and Carter are the only ones I have left.

Trumps giving it a good go though as he has 3 snookers already and only needs 4.

I gave up watching when Carter was in a winning position then saw Surprised's posts which got my hopes up then I saw the third snooker only for more Trump rubbish snatching defeat from the jaws of victory leaving me with just Ronnie who will surely implode at some point, possibly taking the Crucible with him.

at 40-0 and 9 reds left down the table ronnie gets out of a snooker behind a spotted brown at the TENTH attempt.

edit - williams cocks it up next shot with a gash safety that lets ronnie back in. this should be the final nail.

Still think you'll win but Higginson's 4 frames in a row despite some terrible positional play keeps things exciting.

... and updated.

For those people trying to work out if they've proceeded in the cup, here are the second round scores. These are not the league scores, but are just the second round scores.

Sneaked through but with Trump's blow-out today it's a pretty deflated feeling as I've only got one player left (Robertson) to my opponent's three. All over for another year.

Only a Carter vs Ronnie final gives me a chance of respectability :|

(I blame Ding, and the abject Higgins   )

I officially can't win.

My two main fancies, Lee and Allen, went out in a blaze of mediocrity and my two wildcard picks, Hendry and O'Sullivan, are tearing it up.

Still have a couple of outright bets left. Robertson @ 4/1 and Jones @ 300/1. Can't see Jones beating Carter though and wouldn't like to call Robertson/O'Sullivan.
