Pity it's over.
Thanks shaggy and I'll be back next year as a better, more disciplined player.

I echo those thoughts.Grant wrote:I'm another on the 'leave as is' vote - I like the simplicity and really tough pricing. Adds interest to the tournament without making it too involved!
Nice to see although I was bottom of FISO I was 121/130 in the whole thing so not total humiliation!
Qualifiers finish on 14th April 2013, Tournament starts on 20th April 2013. Thanks for running it. I look forward to next year.

Mid-table mediocrity, despite being aboard the rocket-ship.
Cheers Shaggy and well played to everybody who came top 16 to ensure a pointless seeding for next year!

I'll add to the chorus of 'leave-it-be' and thanks to shaggy and the cup draw committee too. Be sure to be back next year with more golden nuggets of predictions like the below
Darbyand wrote:Think Shaggy's pricing lured in a lot of O'Sullivan punts, but has he really got the desire for up to 15 tough sessions, whatever it takes to go deep into the tournament? Also got a horrible draw.

An Essex 1-2 in the real thing.
Just checked the old threads and it was back in 2010 that I entered a "concept team" of all the Essex players (plus one to make up numbers). Like many concepts my team was clearly ahead of its time....

OK, OK.
There's enough people saying leave it alone to make me leave it alone.
I have thought of a slight tweak I can do that shouldn't upset people too much. It'll still be a pick-5 (or pick-6, knulpuk) but if you rank your entry so your first player gets 5 x points, second player 4 x points down to 5th player 1 x points.
Anyway, I'll be back next April. Thanks for all the kind words. You've already had a pm asking for a different sort of thanks, so I'll say thanks to those people that kindly obliged.

An improvement on the last time, and a very happy one I would like to thank shaggy for his organisation and also those who did the Challonge.
