If you hadn't posted that, I wouldn't have remembered this
One of the top Comp for me, up there with Spencers for simplicity etc.Shaggy365 wrote:I guess we'll see when it's all over on the 2nd May.blahblah wrote:Do you actually know anything about snooker?
If you're questioning the values against the players, they were worked out from the current world ranking points.

Cheers Shaggy - nice to clinch a top 8 spot and hence a seeding to see me get a safe passage to the QFs next year....

thanks for running this again shag..was good fun
i think we saw the emergence of a new superstar in trump which was good
im just dissapointed that a player who had no right being there ever again had to win it

Thanks for running it.
Amazing atmosphere at final session. Was hoping it wouldn't be an anti-climax after the walk-ons but the tenseness made it all the more exciting. Nice that they both thought the other player was better. Trump will have his day in the future.

The answers to two of the questions are Canadian. The postman is from Cannock - rags to riches and back to rags again.

6. Nigel Bond
10. Must be Canadian!

Well done Blah for taking it down so impressively. Many thanks to Shaggy for running it again, it certainly keeps me glued to the tv every April!

6. Nigel Bond . It was Andy Hicks that Hann offered to fight. King then stepped in to fight on behalf of Hicks.
10. Alain Robidoux was the player that returned his cue to his maker, only for the chap that built it to smash it to pieces. Asked about the bloke a few years later and whether he had any forgiveness "I still want to kill him" was something like Robidoux's response.
Finally, thanks to Shaggy for running this and thanks to Judd Trump for reiginting a lot of interest in snooker. Onwards and upwards

Forgot to thank bluenosey for the cup. Disastrous first round for me this year but at least I'll have hope as I'm seeded next year

Re: 2011 Fantasy World Snooker - Now Underway
Finally managed to update my web-site.
I had all the numbers ready within 20 seconds of the match finishing, but then spent 20 hours trying to get access to my site to put them all in.
Anyway, if anyone wants to know how they did against everyone else that entered (including lower life forms that aren't members of FISO), you can now have a look.

Quick echo of the above thanks for running the comp/cup - adds some intrigue to the World Champs.
Shame Higgins won, but Judd made it very interesting - good tournament.

Was searching something else in here... You know the Cue Maker? I'd like to think he is down your way, lol.bluenosey wrote: ↑03 May 2011, 13:382. Bob Chaperonchrismar wrote:2. Bob Chaperonbluenosey wrote:Virgo won it around 1980 I think - complete with dodgy perm.
