OK, so when I cleared out my web-site once it started, I took out the scoring bit. Perhaps I should put it back in, as well as the points per player.

Unlucky padmole - Lee's loss and score of -2 has made the score 44 all but Maguire has already guaranteed himself a positive score so I think I'm through. 44 will be one of the best losing scores and with 3 through you could be alright for the main comp.

Overall not bad - an average of a smidge over 3 getting through, which isn't bad with the tight budget and 17 out of 18 of us in the top half. We won't talk about Jester.......

I'm hopelessly over-exposed to the top half of the draw -O'Sullivan's half. Will need something special from Cope, Day and Selby to continue to prosper.

Though Day has made a good start against murf's Bond.

I was very surprised (and pleased, since I have him) to see Hendry come through against Ding last night.

Very evenly matched players, and it wouldn't have been a shock if Ding had won.

The match also included Hendry's 1,000th frame at the Crucible, which he won with a 140 clearance. I didn't realise that he hasn't won a ranking tournament since 2005. Maybe if I'd known that before it all started, I might not have picked him.

Well played though to Hendry and especially Allen. I missed the game so not sure if Ronnie was at the races or not.
