How does 5 8 11 16 18 (29) give you a total of 526?

Ive got 4 players yet to start and 2 eliminated (so do brackets not mean elimination?). M Davis was a cheap enabler but Mr Lee let me down baaaaad
Karrde old bean, those are the numbers of your players, not what they've scored. Do pay attention, there's a good chap.

Dear dear me. There's only 1 item listing under scoring on the web-site. That says : "You score 1 point for each point one of your players scores, whether they win the frame or not."

How hard can it be?

And yes, it is a bit unusual, and the points don't really mean too much at the moment, but at the end of the tournament, some-one will win.

BTW, I've only had one person play up to now as well. There are still some that haven't had anyone play, but to date, no-one has had all 6 players lose.

murf wrote:Bizarre game being based on total points scored.

My Mark Selby has let the other guy win 9 frames to maximise the number of points he picks up (better to lose a frame and get some points rather than win early and play less frames). Just needs to rattle off the last 3 frames now 8-)
Whilst they made hard work of it (and at times I cursed all three of them), I was fairly pleased with Carter, Hendry & Ebdon in that respect . The same cant really be said for Mark Davis though.

Last 16 - Start to 22/4 (1st round + start of 2 rd 2 games!)
QFs - 23-28/4 (2nd Rd games - those in last 16)
SFs - 29-30/4 (QFs)
Final - 1-5 May (Semis and final)
How can it work if it only includes 2 round 2 games? If one person has a player play and one doesn't then the first player gets a huge advantage in that he has one extra game to score points.

Totally agree with you. And also if you have got 4 players through and 2 of them are in the first 2 games, then you only have 2 players left for next round. To make it totally fair, it should be end of first round! And then next round should be all players in the 2nd round games to qualify.

yes......i think this FISO comp should start at the beginning of the world champs 2nd round which is last 16. Then we are equal.

Any ideas murf??

That would be ideal yes but the World Championships have the last Rd1 sessions and first Rd2 sessions on the same day. Combine that with Shaggy's fantasy game working on daily scores and there isn't much I can do about it. Sorry. Plus an advantage in our first round = a disadvantage in Rd 2 and vice versa.

Unless one of you wants to volunteer and calculate all the scores individually

EDIT - I am working with Shaggy365 to see if I can come up with a way of using true round 1 scores (by taking out any early Rd 2 points) - if that is possible then I'll do the scores that way. Either way I'll do the scores for our first knockout games on friday.

Confirmed. I can supply true round 1 scores. Also I'm 6th from bottom of my own competition, so I need all the help I can legitimately get to try and improve my performance.

Cheers Darren.

Long term we're both Shaggy365'ed (Selby  ), but Wenbo doing me proud at the moment (4 - 2 up against Doherty). Then it's my Ronnie score against Rob's Murphy score.

If Wenbo keeps going I should win :P ..............barring a Ronnie meltdown

Oh dear. I'm down to 261st out of 262. Still, I suppose I can only go one way now.

Who's ideas was this fantasy snooker competition anyway?
