Trumps long potting seems to have deserted him. He seems to be moving very slightly on each shot, which he needs to sort.

His whole bridge arm moves on practically every shot, it has done for years. Some say it is irrelevant, but I struggle with the idea of his cue action standing up under pressure.

So having said that the bottom 1/3rd and those tied are eliminated, the final is between bluenosey & owenclass, and assuming Judd Trump gets a positive score in the final, Mr Nosey will take it.

Higgins is ranked 48. Trump 46.

So if you have:
Trump 96pts for won frame , -46 lost frame
Higgins 92pts for won frame , -48 lost frame

All times the multiplier.

Bluenosey can't get enough Trump points to beat me (he has him *5, I have him *4). An 18-0 win would only gain 18*96=1728.

Shaggy has Higgins on *4. 18-0 win is 18*92*4=6624. Trump loss for me =18*4*-46=-3312. Total 9936. Shaggy is 7214 behind so can win by 2722.

Each Trump frame win is a differential of 4*((2*96)+48)=960.

So I just need 3 Trump frames to win the FISO League.

Currently 2-1 to Trump and he is on a 46 break. Some people are on the table....

Oh well, just hope it's a great final and its certainly started that way.

I must admit I was reeling sporting wise yesterday. First seeing Solihull knocked out by Fylde in the play off and then the epic Higgins Gilbert game. I was gutted for Dave at the end - even more so after the interview - but he did himself proud. He just went off the boil on Friday night, should have really been 14-10 or 15-9 but he admitted to being knackered. Fair play to Higgins. I've been a critic since that alledged incident but he was very sporting with the re-rack and afterwards he was also welling up. The likes of Gilbert, Gary Wilson and James Cahill have been a real shot in the arm for the sport and its been the best tourny for years.

Trump just had too much for Gary Wilson in the end and like Higgins, he's played in fits and starts, somewhat fortunate to beat Un Nooh in the first round but he sarted the final well, 3-1 up, only for Higgins for respond. It was a great session all in all but mentally, will he have the strength Higgins has, or will the later be tired out by his tough games in the build up ? I'm itching for the next session to start

Higgins should have too much for Trump. But I'm hoping it comes down to Higgins being shite all last season (and has struggled here) against Trump's moving bridge arm in the last session.....

Tbh this has been poor quality wise with only the newbies and losing Semi bods showing anything.

I watched the first session and start of the second and they were matching each other century for century - switched to watch Line of Duty and then saw Trump had a 7 frame lead That changed quickly...

Tbh this has been poor quality wise with only the newbies and losing Semi bods showing anything.

All-time record number of centuries, yes, definitely poor quality...

Maybe there are more mistakes, but that’s probably players being more aggressive, or being made to pay a bigger price when they do mess up. The depth of talent keeps increasing, hence the shock results and wide field of potential champions these days.
