Murf the only one with 4 players still in. That will be a points boost in second round.

I went for 4 * top 16 and avoided those seeds who have lost. A simple tactic. ....

So it looks like my 2nd round cup opponent will be the postman unless Robertson loses or fails to win better than 10-5

Sorry about that. This is the first time I've been able to view the cup draw as it wouldn't display on my phone.

Also: TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!

It won't last.

So, round one over at the Fisoble :)

Blah hit a rich vein of form but not rich enough, as he was turned over in a display of cueing prowess by Bob Mem.

Another quality game saw Moist edge out Chris Mar in a tight final frame decider.

Six out of the top seven seeds made it through, with only Owen Class stumbling at the feet of the impressive MorganB.

Gilchrist1983 had the biggest victory margin, nearly doubling the tally of GM.

Whilst Polar Blear and Nev Blake slugged out a dour, pointless battle which went on until the early hours....Polar Bear just scraping over the finish line at 4am in the morning.

Big morning for Ronnie and any chance I have for top half respectability. Thanks for the updates guys.

General question - might be being a tad unfair in asking why are the BBC obsessed with The Jester from Leicester. He looks like a drug addict and plays some boring snooker.

Does a Mark Allen at the dodgy Hearns type decision

Agreed about Selby, especially the druggie thing. I commented here about that ages ago. He always looks stoned when the match gets serious - more smack or coke looking than speed

Nice to see the seeding worked out for the first round. 12 out of top 16 seeds made it through Round 1. I fear I'm already out thanks to Mark Selby's win last night, and Ronnie looking like he's on target this morning.

Maybe he's not after losing that frame.

Ronnie misses a sitter red at 10-9 down. Basic mistake of looking sideways when down on the shot, schoolboy! Always get back up and down again if you do that!

Not many shared your Allen faith - not sure who I want to win, as the rest have Robertson....
