Another Gid Coe tweet (subsequently deleted) mentions the line:

Cresta? What the f**k were we drinking?

Cheers Ted. Not bowled over with those on first listening, but it is early on a Sunday morning.

Hopefully they are growers.

Still looking forward to hearing the whole album on Monday week.

Might be of interest. I've met Dave a couple of times, seen his bands play and he's a big HMHB fan

Looks interesting. Will add to my Christmas List, I will no doubt be pestered for soon.

Liège may or may not rhyme with beige (and greengage) but it is spelt differently. "i before e except in beige".

Maybe I could invent a new colour and call it Biège. Could licence it out for use in the Standard Leige football kit....

Caved with two days to go and downloaded from one of those nasty people who uploaded it as soon as it arrived.

Hate the game not the player.

Mind you, I have already paid for the album.

Was hoping mine would arrive today as they said my order had been 'completed' on wednesday. Massive letdown.

To be perfectly honest, I'm hoping it's a grower.

Currently half way through the first play and most albums are growers for me. So far, so meh.

Although I have noticed the curse of HMHB has struck before the album has even been released!

Did over 4 hours of driving yesterday for a site visit so spent that time acquainting myself with UFO. Definitely a grower but probably more meh on the album than usual.

Definitely growing on me but there is still that nagging feeling that all the songs are just reworkings of old ones (they even acknowledge this with reference to the cab driver's boil!)

Six months on, how do you rate it?

It grew on me definitely. Not their best maybe but still good stuff. Put it this way.... I'm happy if my iPod picks a track when on random.

Grown on me too. Apparently it was the album of the year... http://www.theguardian.com/music/2014/d ... lf-biscuit

More biscuit social media activism?

Apparently there was a session on Gideon Coe a few days back (source: Facebook). Did anyone catch it?

6Music played Footprints earlier. Never heard that before. Genuine Laugh Out Loud moment for the Junior Kick Start line.

Bought it a while back. Failed to report on how great it was as I was busy cutting my hedge.

Cracking lyrical observations including one about "moving to the Keswick area" which I did back in 2015. Fashion setter or what?

I'll be too busy cutting my hedge so I'll be swerving the Lux Familiar.

Not swerving the checkatrade....

Just read that Liverpool have weighed up all the pros and cons and will be entering for the first time this season.
