Cheers :D

I looked up Bobby Darin afterwards, didn't realise he sang "Mack the Knife". I knew it wasn't Frank singing :? . Second time as well I've got the lifting of prohibition year wrong but Ill remember from now on.

If I put it off I might forget! Just sent the one with research as well. Not easy to research that picture round to be honest, got there in the end though (I think).
great quizzes to be honest. just the right balance in my opinion, although I guess you've been doing them for a while :-)

Not many other entries in for this one yet, open until tomorrow morning.
There's a politically themed quiz coming up soon, and the big live quiz on wednesday.

No worries, i'm not overly strict on time limits - am also considering changing the formats, maybe trying another live night on top of the (now regular) wednesday night quiz and having that run for a few hours too, lots of options.

More entries already in a few hours than in the whole of the last 40 hour period, could be random or maybe to do with a more popular topic - though am surprised that politics might be popular right now ...

Will be posting a link later to the live quiz starting at 9pm on zoom - different from now on as zoom meetings require a password since their latest update two days ago - but i've embedded the code and password link on the quiz page anyway - i'll also be sending the link to those of you on my mailing list as per usual.

Some very good scores in already for this quiz - tricky without research but perhaps a bit easier to source answers than for other recent quizzes. This one runs through to tomorrow morning - I'm hosting a private quiz party tonight, and had another request for a quote through my agent for a corporate gig in a few weeks time; in a rea life bar in the unlikely event of much relaxed rules by mid june, or a virtual quiz otherwise, so we are starting to get moving again.

Entries still open for the current quiz this morning - had a message form one of my "regulars" saying they were too tired to do the quiz at the moment, a definite drop off in numbers this weekend and for my live party quiz last night too, a low mood for many just now, it should swing back soon.

I've had a look QK but computer games arent really my thing, so should be back for the next one :D

The questions are good, though - not that I knew many answers !

Cheers - a few people have said they are too hard, but as I mentioned at the start of all this, the questions are or were originally targetted at corporate or bar teams of 6 or 8 rather than individuals stuck in lockdown - and I have no plans to dumb down, not my style. Different topics all the time, there's another sports special quiz up soon.

I totally agree - you stick to your guns. No good if everyone gets them all right, all of the time.

If I don't know the answer I read up. Everyday's a school day :D

Computer game round was great for people growing up in the late 80s and 90s (I played most of them)... The rest of the rounds I wasn't so good at

Keep them coming though it's good entertainment for sure!

Well I grew up in the 1980's and I'd only heard of one of them :-)
on the other hand the 1970's albums was pretty easy for me (older Brother, who was also a DJ in the 1970's - everything from Northern Soul to T Rex)

I agree that the quiz id just right - usually a few easy questions, a few middling and then a few really hard ones. Its almost like Steve's done these sort of things before :-)
