Let's start the ball rolling....
I think the CL players are obvious, though, who do you think are the bargain Europa players listed above?

Yeah I guess 1200 is too many as you wouldn't need second / third choice goalkeepers and a some peripheral players who never get a look in.
But a compromise could be struck, such as listing a minimum of 8 or 9 players from every team in both comps, a whole back 5 and 2 mids and strikers to choose from, seems a bit of a waste to have 15 clubs in the Europa with 1 player or less, especially if some of those clubs advance to the latter stages, guess they could add players then but still, looking at some of the strike rates on stats based websites of some of these players, I'd fancy them from the start.
All the best to everyone anyway.

Can't remember the prizes last year too much but I think the payouts went past top 10.
I think what you've suggested will be about right as they don't payout past top 10 of the Weekly and didn't in the scraped Monthly.

I preferred last years transfer policy of unlimited transfers between phases. That way you base your selections on the games instead of just picking players from the top teams who are more likely to progress.

Once it starts we'll have to start a thread on the new players added. I effing hate when they do that but I guess you can't control the seas, you just gotta learn how best to ride the waves.

No such thing as definite starters in Europa. Man Utd most played back 5 in Europa this season so far has been De Gea, Bailly, Smalling, Rojo and Darmian. Tottenham of course have been in the Champions League, so who knows who they'll play in Europa.leethomas wrote:Could someone inform me of spurs and united back 5 definite europa starters please......anyone.......a pm will do.......not you backlash.......thanks

Re: Europe Dream Team 2017
It'll be a shame if they don't use the player lockout. I think the player lockout makes it more fair and skilful, rather than everybody using their transfers to have 14 players scoring a week. Out of the two version posted on this thread strangely I'd prefer it if they did £5 a team rather than £2, just to thin out the herd a little bitquizking wrote:Have found a bit more info - not that it won't necessarily change again of course;

Thanks for the link quizking.
Happy the variable pricing won't be implemented in this game.
Not sure I'll bother with the 10 "free teams" going for a 10k pot there will be thousands of teams.
As you say grizzler I'd rather a slightly higher entry fee too just to keep numbers lower

A real shame Sevilla decided to qualify from their CL group as you could always bank on them to reach the Europa final
