Slipped to 8th, FML! Guy below me had Benega...though more positively only 4 points between 8th and 4th place and I have 8 players left to play which is the most in top 10.

Though some teams do have 6 and 7 players of there own so it's going to be close...

Like you Block, could really do with Real conceding in final to kill CS points and a few goals from Real...come to think of it maybe a high scoring (yes I know they are playing Athletico) game so Real defenders actually lose points but Kroos does the job with another star man!!!

My decision to go with Varane instead of Pepe could end up fairly costly! the extra 20pts I would have had would put me on 427pts (15th) and Benzema as a massive differential (only 1 other above me with him). I would also be in 10th for the phase with no one having Benzema above me.
It could be bitter sweet if Benzema does well in the final

I think there was a doubt over his fitness at the time and I wasn't convinced he was first choice, I think benitez prefered Varane but Zidane prefers Pepe it seems

I kind of know the feeling - I also avoided Pepe because him and Varane played a game each in the last 16. I could have squeezed him in if I really wanted to - think I was a mil short at the time, but could have downgraded Rakitic to free up the extra funds.

Ya should be guaranteed 100 quid Ronny !! My best is in 97th one point clear of out of money with 7 real players left, hoping it can stay in for £100!! Still gutted really, start of phase 3 I did bayern/Dortmund in my top team and real in my 2nd highest, if I did them teams other way round I would of been 4th, 4 points off second, I remember chopping and changing them a good few times as well . It's only money!! Roll on euros!!

Ps...Good luck to block and Ricky in final, Think he has won it at top but hope you get 2nd and 3rd !!!

Could have had a squeak at a Phase 3 prize if Coke had got Star Man. Would have only been 7 points off Top 100 if he had with 5 to play. Not really 100% sure how the Algo works but a defender scoring 2 goals should surley give him a better rating than a defender(Moreno) who has a bit of a stinker.

all the best for the final ronny! don't beat yourself up over the varane thing. no way you can account for injury. and this squad rotation thing is a pain in the ass for ff managers! its like the carvaljal/danillo thing earlier on; puts you off picking either. I bet if there was a DT in 1977 when Liverpool won the league by only playing 16 players in 42 games, it wouldve been a piece of piss (though there would've been about 12 points between the top 300 at the end)
