most people will ... I also have adebayor (wba h), lukaku (cpl a) and rooney (lei a) which means I am considering not even having Costa on my bench this week but not sure I can bring myself

My bench is far too strong this week but with too few defenders on it means I keep Lovren's 2.

Here's the choice for tomorrow.....

Austin and Siggy's 2&3 are out for tomorrow as is Balotelli's 4. Which 3 out of the following should replace them? I'm also out most of tomorrow so won't be around to see lineups for the early games.

Lamela (WBA home)
Adebayor (WBA home)
Di Maria (Lei away)
Silva (Che home)
Costa (ManC away)

My next lowest attacking scorer is Elmo on 6. Is it worth taking him out for the fourth choice of these?

Of those I'd have gone Adebayor, Dia Maria and Silva personally, and I wouldn't take out somebody on 6.

I found myself with a choice to make between 2 of Adebayor, Aguero and Falcao. Couldn't decide which two to play or indeed which of the three to Captain (having blanked on Ramsey yesterday).

Almost nothing between them in my mind with the way the fixtures are for today.

I chose Ade and Falcao (C) but will now be watching the Man City/Chelsea game between my fingers.

Note to selves: you can't sub out a red-carded player

Double whammy: I'll take the -2 for Bony but why should I have to leave one of Costa/Aguero/Naismith watching from the stands?

Makes sense for the red, a punishment so to speak. UL though.

You can sub out own goalscorers and minus scoring defenders if the team lets in a lot though, always worth making sure you have a possibility for defensive subs for MD2 or 3

I went with the top 3 but captained Di Maria. Could moan about dropping Balotelli's 4 for Ade's 2 but it was the right decision to do so and I won't sniff at a game week rank of 7th :D

So...when Saturday captain Sterling scores 2 points and Sunday captain Lamela also scores 2 points, what do you do? You stick the armband on super Charlie Austin 8-)

My subs bench had one playable slot - had to take out a couple of loans (S'oton defence)

I think that's inevitable for every team. There was a time a few weeks ago when not only were all my reserves marked with a red or yellow sign, but so were some of my bench players. But I never needed recourse to a loan. Now that I'm back to a squad of 20 available players, it feels good, and that number seems to be increasing every week. Also every cloud has a silver lining, the smaller your available squad, the fewer difficult decisions that face you.

Mind you I have a natural optimism regarding fantasy football, whereas these fiso boards suggest that pessimism is the default state of the majority of posters.

Injuries, suspensions and poor player choices lead to my loans...
:D

Got lucky last night as I was forced into clyne as capt. 22nd overall now but the leader is 47 points clear. Some pricey deadwood now showing in my team, Terry, Ade, Sterling

At least Costa's performance tonight meant I didn't have to think whether to bring Aguero in for tomorrow to go alongside Welbeck and Austin

13th after the overnight update.

Question now is do I stick with Bony capt (12 pts) or twist to Aguero and lose 6 points

Anyone else, no. It's Aguero and you'd be very unlucky if he didn't get at least an assist.

My team has completely died. Almost literally. I have two active loans and I still have 9 guys either injured or out of favour.

Very tricky decision. Have you looked to see if the other top teams have Aguero/Bony?

I've just swapped from Sigi (10pts) for tonights games, but nowhere near your rarified level.

Good luck!

Morgan - red
Dzeko - red
Debuchy - red
van Aanholt - red
Krul - red
di Maria - orange
Naismith - orange

 :( :( :(

Yep did the swap. 86 points altogether which saw me drop from overnight rank of 13th down to 18th.

Still its a green arrow for the week - up from 23rd to 18th. And top of the fiso league again too

Question: I have Wisdom on the bench (1st reserve) and have Lovren in my current team. I have a defender I could bring in for Lovren tomorrow but if I wanted Wisdom's points should I just leave Lovren in until the end of the gameweek?

I guess what I am asking; Is there an automatic subs feature in this game?

Yes, but if you make any changes (ie subs or change captain) then the auto sub won't happen.

Recovered some of last weeks disaster and moved up from 43rd to 30th.

Dropped 33 places last week from 10th to 43rd mainly thanks to not having Sanchez

Down 8 to 38th. All about getting through January though. Only one transfer used and hoping to only use 1 next week. Which should leave me with 10 to use on Feb 7th
