8 points in it at the top and 13 at the bottom. Squeaky bum time at both ends.

Tuesday night I want a win to Saints but VDH scoring!

Definitely a squeaking bum here - living on a bit of a knife edge. If Man City had run riot yesterday I could have been well behind. Two more City games to survive.

At the bottom I’d be amazed if anyone other than me went down. But I go on in hope!

Double relegation or double just stay up!
1 of each? You choose!

Looks like that’s sorted then. Byeeeeeee!

Couldn’t understand why I was 2 points behind then I worked out we have another difference Des.

Gross v Doucoure.

Fully expecting Valencia not to play again.

Hoping some of yours get rested Sunday!

Yes, that was puzzling me too. I must have thought because they both scored points last week that they cancelled each other out, or maybe I was focused on the Sunday games.

Surely Sterling will play Sunday, although I guess you wouldn’t want too many goals scored.

Okay I’m done.

Maguire  Jones
Jesus  Sánchez

Quantity of potential fixtures swayed me in the end. Now just just need to hide behind the sofa on Sunday.

Just one more to do and I can finally draw a line under this distinctly average nothingness of a season.
Oooops. Wrong team!

Already have Jesus here so now bought Lacazette instead. Still for Lukaku. Still 1 left.
And Lacazette's brief run in my team is as over as my transfer tally. Sanchez in and the tinker finger retires for the summer.

11 games to go and Zipnolan has fractionally extended his lead over Bill Ferny while Des closes in on Happyhoppy at the other end.

Egg Premier League 2017/18

Post by happyhoppy »

I’m not at all confident that many of my 4 differentials will even play.

Vdh - left out mid week
Valencia - rested for final
Doucoure - will play whoopy doo
Sterling - who knows

Whereas Des
Tarkowski - yep
Dave - yep
Gross - yep
Sané - hopefully not

I’m doomed.

Do these feelings come from being a Saints supporter, or a fan of Private Frazer?

You've been saying you're doomed for weeks now, but I thought that was when you were Unhappyhoppy.
Either id, you are still ahead of me, and have been for the past 15 weeks.

With that level of pessimism, what are your scores predictions for Saints and Swansea?
Swansea ? Stoke 0
Saints 0 City ?

Good luck with the remaining fixtures - I'm just glad to have used up all my transfers.

As they seem to have been saying on Football Focus today, you can't enjoy the thrill of achieving promotion if you remain in the top league.
I'm sure this sentiment will hearten whichever one of us is relegated.

I had a 50 point lead not long ago and that’s all but gone. I think you’re clear favourite but you never know. If it’s relegation it’s deserved for me I’ve played so badly this season, so many mistakes. As you say it’s a different challenge trying to get promoted. Gives Murf a year to narrow the gap in titles

FYI
Swansea 5 Stoke 0
Saints 0 MC 5

Think we can safely say congratulations to Zip on his first win. 16 points ahead.

Zip has De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rudiger, Christensen, Hazard and Sanchez. 8-)
BF has De Gea, Christensen, and Pogba.

So it will need Pogba to turn into Messi.

I'll not be on the podium then.

Too lazy to check teams but that table is probably the last time you'll see me top half.

Next year the Premier League will be mine.

Looking at the permutations for my showdown with Des. Looks like a real possibility is a 7-2 which could make us equal so I guess goals would then determine who stays up. Looks like I have that at least.

A booking for Valencia (which is not unlikely the way he plays) would see a 7-1 and Des winning by a point.
