Week 38

The lead stretches to 47 c/o Saints defenders and Dzeko, the Woolster relinquishes 2nd to Lucky7s.

Des and BFM still look doomed, the 3rd spot is now filled by Digsby although all up to Zipnolan (34 clear) will be looking over their shoulders.

Don't want to count chickens but it's looking good for my only glimmer of glory this season (I'll take what I can), podium spots look settled too and the relegation spots appear confirmed for the bottom 2 with only Digsby fighting to stay afloat.

Any chance of a table of cup final players?

Don't suppose I'll shift from 6th (AKA top half respectability) but there is always a chance.

Can't see Chesney playing so that makes that spreadsheet seem a little sparse.

I need 4 or 5 goals form Cazorla to move upwards or less if Giroud also chips in with 2 or 3 and Ramsey doesn't feature..........

6th it is then.

Digsby does have a (very) slim chance of surviving. Des needs to use his 2 transfers on Doc Emmett Brown and his mate Dell O'Rean.

I took it as Fab getting practice in but I suppose it could be compensation for Fab for being dropped from the Cup team (and giving Sczczczsscczczcy a rest)

Was worried when Kos scored but I survived. Incredible!

Very well played Happyhoppy, and everyone in here. Great league and a great season.

Just to complete my transfer postings, I brought in Cazorla and Fryatt for two non-players.
However, I really needed the game to go to penalties, tho my relegation was assured some time ago, I fear.

The league did well with six in the top 5000, and two in the top 1000. I'll see Diggsby and BFM in the Championship next season, where we should have an advantage due to our parachute payments.

Thanks Happy for running this, and well done on your egg cup and 117th.

So the top 100 was beyond this team but still the highest ever finishing position by an egg team so I'll take that as an achievement in a terrible season. A 4th egg cup woo hoo, leaving Murf behind at last. 50 pts to The Woolster was a surprisingly wide margin in the end I think it was down to some Saints clean sheets, Dzeko and Yaya with injuries to Silva and Mirallas not helping you. Lucky7s managed to hold on to the last podium spot from Spiny.

Lack of attention probably did for BFM as he went down (another of the original members?), he is joined by Des who despite a late rally left himself too much to do and goes down again, Digsby also returns to the NPC probably due to lack of attention. Mystery breathes a huge sigh of relief avoiding the drop by 10 pts.

Very high standard this season so well played everyone, going down whilst in the top 20k is probably unprecedented so unlucky there.

Finally those that haven't done so already please state whether you will be taking your place in the PL next season here:- the-egg-cup-premier-league-2014-15-t109919.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
