Maldini Egg Cup

Hart MCY £3.8M
Dier TOT £3.2M
Dawson WBA £2.6M
Bellerin ARS £3.9M
Payet WHU £3.6M
Barkley EVE £3.9M
Alli TOT £2.7M  Smalling MNU £4.3M
Ozil ARS £5.4M
Kane TOT £5.8M
Sanchez ARS £7.1M
Martial MNU £4.7M

Transfers remaining - 1
Team Value - £48.3M

Transfers:

Freebie - Although I think Baines will be a decent pick this season, Everton have a dreadful start. Bournemouth have good opening fixtures.
Freebie - Delph both overpriced & injured. Hazard is a must have, season long pick.

1 - Murray  Mane : Murray is a dreadful pick so in comes Mane who'll easily outscore him and it also frees up some cash.
2 - Schneiderlin  Kompany : Poor fantasy football pick for some rejuvenated Man City defensive coverage. Fitness a worry though.
3 - Rooney  Sanchez : Rooney looks lost up top on his own so brought in Sanchez for 2-0.
4 - Cahill  Ayew : uncharacteristic leaky Chelsea defence means Cahill makes way for in form KC. Skrtel next.
5 - Hazard  Aguero : Hazard not hit his straps yet but as soon as he does, he'll be coming back in for Kane.
6 - Yoshida  Kouyate : Yoshida looks to have dropped down the pecking order so brought in Kouyate who looks half decent for £3.1M.
7 - Sterling  Martial : City bubble burst and Sterling hasn't impressed. £4.7M for a top 4 striker, what's not to like?
8 - Kane  Payet : Flanged out Kane for Payet who has good fixtures and looks like an assist machine.
9 - Skrtel  Dawson : Overpriced Liverpool defender makes way to free up funds for...
10 - Kouyate  Hazard : Fancy Chelsea to go on a run now and Hazard will be key to this.
11 - Aguero  Pelle : Injured to in form striker with nice fixtures.
12 - Francis  Kolorov : Bournemouth a bit leaky now.
13 - Hazard  De Bruyne : Looking increasingly like Hazard isn't going to hit his straps at all so he's gone for a much cheaper option.
14 - Martial  Lukaku : United looking pretty toothless and Everton have a nice run of fixtures.
15 - Payet  Barkley : 50/50 on Barkley or Cabaye. Went with Barkley so expect a glut of points for Cabaye.
16 - Pelle  Kane : Pelle now suspended for in form Kane.
17 - Sanchez  Bolasie : Sanchez out for a few weeks so in comes an under priced Bolasie. (Mainly because I forgot to swap on Saturday)
18 - Mane  Aguero : Aguero shuffle pt III
19 - Kompany  McAuley : finally lost patience with Kompany so doubled up on West Brom defenders who have good fixtures.
20 - Bolasie  Ozil : Bolasie looks to be out for a few weeks so bringing in Ozil about 6 weeks too late.
21 - Barkley  Mahrez : 3 for 0. Good start
22 - Mahrez  Payet : the 3-0 mustered me 5pts. Out of cup and off pens so in comes Payet.
23 - De Bruyne  Eriksen : long term injury so in comes Eriksen who starts against Colchester.
24 - Ayew :arrow Alli : Ayew goals dried up and no longer in FA Cup to must have enabler.
25 - Lukaku  Martial : daisy chaining forwards for extra games
26 - Martial  Vardy : Martial transfer went well.
27 - Cech  Hart : injury
28 - Kolorov  Dier : Kolorov getting no game time so in comes Dier (tight Spurs defence and can score the odd goal too).
29 - Kane  Lukaku : possible 6-2
30 - Eriksen  Barkley : as above.
31 - Vardy  Martial : 3-0
32 - McAuley  Bellerin : Very nice fixtures and offers much more going forward.
33 - Lukaku  Sanchez : 3-0 disaster so cutting my losses for Arsenal's easy run in.
34 - Aguero  Kane : Daisy chaining strikers
35 - Alli  Smalling : banned for rest of season, Utd have 5 games left.

Yeah hopefully, why I like to save a couple of subs to the end if possible, could have been even better without the own goal from Smalling, but perhaps that's being greedy :)

Most probably will cost me top spot :( only myself to blame for being complacent towards the end and not going more Man Utd heavy although i dont think it will be a high scoring final hopefully 1 nil Palace 8-)

Final Table

Well it couldn't be any closer with our first tie ever in Egg Cup history. So as per TFF rules it goes to goals scored so woody 71 wins the League 1 egg cup by scoring 4 more goals over the season. Unlucky Wiseowl65 where lack of ManU ended up being costly. However some consolation with promotion to the Championship along with Tenpinterry.

Thanks wiseowl, no it couldn't have been any closer, always difficult to know whether a points lead or subs in hand is better at the end, could have gone either way. Congrats for getting promoted, see you in the Championship :)
