Reasons for Transfers:
With a team that doesn't have Aguero, Sanchez or Baines, this feels a bit like moving the deckchairs on the Titanic  , but this is a straightforward swap from an expensive defender in a team that leaks goals to a dirt cheap defender in a team that doesn't.

Welcome back after the international break, here's the table going into the weekend. It's all change at the top and bottom, and we also have some important news.

We have a new leader... Woody gets a massive 64 points, the highest of the week, to jump from third last time out to top of the pile. Aguero's 12 points help of course, but his defenders (Woody is currently playing 5-3-2) also chip in with lots of points.

Bad week for Boltonboy - not just losing the lead after a long run at the top, but his 37 points was one of the lowest of the week. He had Aguero (seems like everyone has him except me  ), but had three players scoring a blank (Chambers, Robertson and Dyer), which is never good. So he drops to second while my 52 points (second highest) mean I am now in third. Just 9 points covering the top 3.

At the other end Bigbaddodd makes his move. Like me, he gets 52 which lifts him off the bottom, moving up two places to 10th. Dude's 25 is the lowest of the week (but see the news re Dude below), he drops to 11th, while it's Nathan who is the new back marker. Just 6 points covering the bottom 3.

Finally, I need to tell you that I have had a PM from Dude, he is leaving FISO. Sad to see him go - we joined FISO in the same year and have been in a number of TFF and FPL leagues together, as well as playing in the same FPL 5AS team.

Dude has said he will leave his egg team on here unchanged, so (barring a miracle) we can expect that team to end the season as the back marker.

Didn't have time to post the couple of further transfers I mentioned above, this brings everything up to date with all three of this week's transfers...

Here's the table before today's games.

My three transfers (especially Aguero's 15 points) help me to move back into second place with 50 points this week, but Boltonboy is even better with 52 points and has extended his lead to 23 points.

They were the top scores of the week, and mean that Woody (who had a bit of a mare with the week's lowest score of 30 points) drops back to third, with Jag now just 4 points behind Woody.

Not a lot of movement outside the top 4, with most teams having pretty similar scores.

Assuming everyone is up to date with posting their transfers here, the top 4 have all used a similar number - Boltonboy and I have 17 left, Woody 18 and Jag 15 - with Jag (I think) currently leading the chase for the Tinkerman Trophy, having used more transfers than anyone else.

Here's the table going into the weekend's fixtures...

Boltonboy extends his lead at the top with the week's highest score of 85 points, and yes he does have RVP! Meanwhile I now have some breathing room in second after the second highest of the week (81). So BB leads me by 25 points and I lead Woody by 23.

No change at the bottom, while the major movers of the week were Nffc going up and GeoffV, with the lowest score of the week, going down.

Well with just 10 transfers left, BB may be taking a risky strategy, but it's certainly paying off so far. He again gets the highest score of the week and extends his lead still further over the chasing pack, led by yours truly. The gap is now 45 points.

Elsewhere Bigbaddod's 46 points saw him climb away from the wrong end of the table a bit, whilst Nathan's 13 points, erm, didn't!

Happy Christmas to all my readers!

You know what they say about leading the table at Xmas, well... Boltonboy is still out in front.

However his lead has been halved to 24 points this week after big scores from me in second and (going one better, with the week's highest score of 51) Jag, who moves up a place to third.

At the other end of the table Nathan has a bit of a mare and is beginning to lose touch with the pack, although the lowest score of the week goes to Nffc, with just 24 points, thanks mainly to his Everton block defence returning "nul points" from four players!

1 Michael Beesley Les Ouefs De Bolton 721 29 45 7894
2 Ian Wallace Hog Eggs 697 50 37 17438

Standings as we head into tomorrow's games.

Sense of deja vua, as it's the second cracking week in a row for me (67 points) and Jag (64). In those two weeks we've seen Boltonboy's lead at the top cut from 45 to 24 to just 4, and there is now some daylight between third placed Jag and the chasing pack, led by Tenpinterry.

Highest score of the week however, went to Hogweed (69 points - definitely a good week for hogs ), who moves up a place to 7th.

Last week's lowest scorer nffc doesn't do much better this time around with just 36 points, with the only lower score this week coming from Dude's no-longer-being-managed team.

1 Michael Beesley Les Ouefs De Bolton 768 47 50 10911
2 Ian Wallace Hog Eggs 764 67 42 12332
3 James Anderson-Gordon Jagged Egg 732 64 37 29103
4 Terry Knapton Eggy Fried TPTerry 708 47 27 47999
5 Anthony Woodbine Eggcited Woody71 702 50 40 53409
