Sorry, I thought you meant via a browser. As admin says, I assume the next update will just be a mobile device compatible version of the normal forum which will mean our filtered forums will remain hidden.jacksosi wrote:Yep, that is what I use to restrict what I see online and on my phone if I use FISO website, thanksDrBunker wrote:Is this page of any use?
ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=index" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
However, on a phone, FISO website isn't great, so tried tapatalk.
This looks nicer, but shows posts from all forums which is too much noise.
Any interested in a "FISO APP" for iPhone and Android?

A more forum like phone version would be great.
Tapatalk is a simple and different way of looking at it that works when you are used to it, and is about right for a phone, but does have a few drawbacks-
1. Too much clutter as you can't manage what forums to display easily enough
2. No polls (or is that an advantage!!??)
3. No FISO Goals / 7s.

Not sure what you meant by this?admin wrote:I'd imagine the 'managed displayed forums' modification we have on fiso will also work under the next update so you can see the latest topics on your smartphone from just the forums you're interested in. If not then remind us to add it in.jacksosi wrote:Yep, that is what I use to restrict what I see online and on my phone if I use FISO website, thanksDrBunker wrote:Is this page of any use?

On my phone I already see the same customised forum topics as I do online.
What do you think is being updated (and on FISO or tapatalk), and when?
tapatalk is great as it shows the latest post in a thread, rather than having to click into a thread and scroll down to the end each time.

If you click on the gold page/envelope thing (on 'puter) then you go straight to the first unread post.jacksosi wrote:tapatalk is great as it shows the latest post in a thread, rather than having to click into a thread and scroll down to the end each time.

Cheers, I hadn't noticed that, probably cos it's next to the username.

Does anyone else not see all of the posts on tapatalk? It seems like the penultimate page is always missing or partly missing. Ie if I go back a page from the latest posts it doesn't find the posts that should proceed it :/
Eg the rounded keeper first post of latest page is #8681. If I go back a page it ends at #8678. 2 posts are awol that do exist on the FISO site. It's often more than 2 posts missing...

Tapatalk seems to change every week. Annoying as I like something to feel comfortable like a 10 year old pair of Levis.

The mobile device compatible update to fiso should be done next month I think. (phpbb have released the standard but we have some fiso modifications which we need to implement so should be testing those out over next few weeks and then can upgrade fiso).
