Clan games
Any clan members that haven't looked at the FISO forum on CC in the past few days please note these threads
1) 51 game doubles match v TNC - to start ASAP
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 9&t=171376" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2) Clan War Tourney (NC3) - starting 24th June
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 9&t=171573" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm pushing on to get the match with TNC going in the next couple of days, as it's doubles it should be played fairly quickly and needs to be out of the way before the NC3 starts. TNC have entered, kizkiz is yet to enter on our behalf, it really needs more than 3/4 of us making decisions for the whole group.
RichT is away from the start of June, another reason to get the first set of doubles games under way before he goes, the NC3 starts after his return.
Anyone else likely to be unable to play for certain periods over the next couple of months please let us know in the CC forum so that we can either set up covering your moves or leaving you out of sets that you are unavailable for.
For the fremiums, let us know how many slots you can keep open for these matches, we'll fill them for you!
You will be invited to games, match title is at the top of the game invite, if it says FISO please don't decline if you want to be part of the clan matches, if you have to for whatever reason please let us know so that another player can be invited immediately and not delay the game(s).
CC has a pm facility similar to here (actually a bit better set up in truth), if you add the FISO players as friends then you have an easy list to work from should you need to pm any of us.
And of course any FISO members that don't belong to a clan that wish to join us, just let kizkiz know and he'll add you.

Possibly we'll be able to include you in the final set of matches so please contribute on the CC forum.

Re: Clan games
Don't worry about anything, most of us are still in the learning process and have royally screwed up games one way or another.stevejtr wrote:I'm in, but no experience of team games in CC and don't want to let anyone down

Main thing is to talk with your partner(s) if you're not sure at any given time. Essentially these doubles matches are 1v1, it's about the team trying to win and not the individual so sometimes better to deploy some or all to your partner for a better attack or stronger defence. Reinforcing can also be all important.
Winning is great, but losing isn't the end of the world, just try to enjoy and learn from the experience.

Re: Clan games
Was talking to Chewie on the phone earlier (to arrange for him to cover my goes whilst I am on holiday).
One of the things he said to me was that he couldnt believe that FISO had challenged TNC as they are stronger than Death by Commity. (apparently). Crown is the player to watch....

Re: Clan games
Every clan is stronger than us and most stronger than DBC
Best way to learn is play the best.
We can holdour own in doubles.
