He could sink Liverpool’s CL hopes with his last game as a manager, that would be

New job lined up, I wonder?

A fair few vacancies emerging, which could lead to further rotation of managers over the summer.

Which always plays havoc with posting next season Sack Race thread!

It is a Euros/Copa America summer so even more managers may become available at tournament's end or be poached to replace the departing international managers.

Yes, though don’t think national team jobs would tempt many PL managers in their prime, these days.

Anyway, I’ll put my towel on the Watford chair in advance

That happened quickly... shame they’ve missed out on Jose. Big Sam’s available again though ;)

Fourth vacancy, excluding relegated West Brom. 20% of PL jobs currently available, plus a few big ones abroad, good time to be a top-level manager...

Well, not an implausible idea. I think Everton have made a rod for their own back here, there’s no way they will be able to sell an underwhelming appointment to the fans (and Nuno, Lampard, Howe, Dyche and Moyes would all fall into that category). Although they fizzled out this season there will still be a big expectation and a sense of unfinished business, so they need to pull off another “coup” or otherwise I can see another Marco Silva scenario unfolding.

And looks like Nuno is going to take it. Knows the league and has had some success, but can he do it without the Mendes conveyor belt? His old club set to pour themselves a Lage, not exactly a Stella name, will it leave them reaching for the harder stuff next season?

Still no movement from Spurs or Everton. May make sense for both to promote from within and see how it goes if they can’t land the blockbuster name they want this summer.

I thought Nuno would go to Everton, seems a tad odd and CP could be the first name on the non-promoted Club to be relegated list - until Cashley does something stupid 😂😂😂

What, like giving Bruce another season? ;)

I think Palace are likely to stay in that “not quite bad enough” group along with Newcastle, Burnley etc. (and perhaps Brighton but they’re a bit different, if they’d had a goalscorer then Graham Potter would have been compared to his namesake Harry last season).

Norwich have probably sealed their fate already by selling their best player. Brentford might have the firepower to have a chance if they can hang onto Toney, while Watford had a habit of muddling through by changing manager a couple of times a year until that monster Cup Final hangover did for them, and could return to that status. Whoever’s in charge by then should just play the kids at Harrogate in the third round...

I thought it was a different thread 🙈

Norwich should get enough cash to strengthen and the manager has the experience....

My guess is that AV have got a cheap replacement for Jack, subject to any Euro PR disasters.
