Big Sam's Next Job Sweepstake

Post by forestfan »

OK, we all know how it ended up for him in his "dream job"... walked away after one game to avoid ruining his record as most successful ever, or something like that!

So, where will Allardyce surface next, surely someone will take a punt on him again? Just pick the club or national team who next employs him as full time manager/head coach, and put your username by it (one person per team). Sunderland? Stoke? Shanghai Shenhua? Saudi Arabia? The choice is yours (and his agent's!)

Of course if he never manages again then nobody wins...

You mean his record as least successful England manager ever... Only one win during his reign!

Flip-pant as my post may be, I still don't think he'll work in (football) management again, certainly not in England.

Surely he's already got a well paying job lined up as an advisor to a far east consortium?

Teams will always value staying in the Premier League... and Pulis can only be in one place at a time!

There are plenty of non-football related roles that I think he'll be available for...

the archetypal villain in a Christmas panto in a provincial town (boo, hiss, he's behind you!)

on some obscure reality show (Big Sam Brother?)

as one of the interviewers in the penultimate round on The Apprentice (he'd know some really leading questions to ask!)

I thought that the football lobby's backing was going to be behind Big Ron, but I suppose that Big Sam could be their Plan B.

Glanced at a newspaper headline yesterday which said Big Sam gone to Villa! I thought that was a bit fast and then realised it was to a Villa abroad for a bit of sun. :D

Pulis for Defence (with 11 centre-backs as his junior staff)

Justice, has to be a ref, Howard Webb's probably got the free time these days...

I thought of Pullis for that too

Wasn't Gary Lineacre never booked? Or we can go to the other extreme of Roy Keane, although he is the wrong sort of Irish :?
