We have a winner!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37542434

Francesco Guidolin - Swansea City - GregsEggs

I'll keep the competition running for the season to see who comes in the all important Champions League positions...

GregsEggs is still in and now hopes Bob Bradley gets sacked :)

In the anti-Sack Race , Mike Phelan has been appointed the permanent manager of Hull.

Silver medal goes to Maldini thanks to Alan Pardrew getting the push yesterday. Again, you will be given the new Palace manager once appointed.

Even the combined brain power of FISO couldn't predict that Claudio Ranieri would be the 5th manager to be sacked this season

Current sack race odds.
Wenger 7/4, no manager 6/5, Bilic 4/1.
I assume these only qualify until the end of the season. (ours will be the FA cup semi final v City)

I know your crap joke wouldn't have worked otherwise but I'd say it's pretty certain. ;)

I suspect Fox will disagree but it's good to see them show loyalty towards Wenger after all he's shown them.

They will have to make the call at some point though, he's showing all the signs of someone who has no interest in ever retiring and won't be pushed as long as Kroenke is in charge. The "loyalty" thing must be at least partially down to the fact he knows he pretty much has a job for life there, whereas at say Real or Barca he would have been sacked in a year or two unless he won every trophy on offer.

Maybe he can find it in him to build another great side but we've been saying that for over a decade now. On their day they're as good as anyone but they've never maintained that for the most part of a season since the Invincibles. There's five English teams that are a more attractive proposition for potential signings now, so they've got to beat them on wages to attract the big stars... and there's more chance of Wenger switching to Pulisball tactics than the Arsenal board sanctioning that! If Sanchez goes they'll be left scrapping with Everton for 6th or 7th.
