Love to see Brooks go down (as in go to jail rather than perform a sex act before I'm accused of being a freak!)

I fear she might get away with it, would be quite incredible if she ended up doing porridge.

I'd echo that. I would be staggered beyond belief if she didnt get away with it.DrBunker wrote:The sad thing is that I'd be surprised if she didn't.Tacalabala wrote:I fear she might get away with it
Invited former priministers to her wedding.
Current priminister is her neighbour.
Police giving her horses as gifts.
Not a sniff she is going down.
The video footage of stuff being moved from HQ to her apartment and then in to the dustbins in her apartment complex (and out again when the police left)? Don't worry about that, presumably just sorting through old clothes or some other circumstantial items.

Re: Modern life's actually quite good sometimes*evidence thr
Petition at Change.org by the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology ... that's the first
Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia: Create and enforce new policies that allow for true scientific discourse about holistic approaches to healing ....
"people who are interested in the benefits of Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology, and specific approaches such as the Emotional Freedom Techniques, Thought Field Therapy and the Tapas Acupressure Technique" ....
"which research has, in fact, proven to be of great benefit to many" ....
"despite numerous rigorous studies in recent years demonstrating their effectiveness" ....
Jimmy Wales responds:
"No, you have to be kidding me. Every single person who signed this petition needs to go back to check their premises and think harder about what it means to be honest, factual, truthful.
Wikipedia's policies around this kind of thing are exactly spot-on and correct. If you can get your work published in respectable scientific journals - that is to say, if you can produce evidence through replicable scientific experiments, then Wikipedia will cover it appropriately.
What we won't do is pretend that the work of lunatic charlatans is the equivalent of "true scientific discourse". It isn't."

Good work Jimmy. It's just a shame that the alternative version of this thread could contain a post about how these so called alternatives are widely used, widely believed, widely available and in many cases supported by taxpayer funded schemes.

Phenomenal stuff, way beyond 'quite good sometimes', to rebuild and reopen the railway line at Dawlish in under two months from the storms.

Yes, though I would caution that people in Hull might have a slightly different perspective on that.

Indeed, it's quite something. In fact if that story had come out a few days ago I'd have been suspicious.murf wrote:Phenomenal stuff, way beyond 'quite good sometimes', to rebuild and reopen the railway line at Dawlish in under two months from the storms.

(I don't know about the Hull reference)
