Thought for a minute you'd spotted the Riccardo Ricco story (he survived, but nearly gave himself kidney failure by transfusing blood that had gone off).

Yet another one
But you have to wonder if this one would ever have had the chance to contribute to the gene pool.....

Another amusing improvement of the gene pool.
American biker goes on a motorbike rally against compulsory helmets. You can guess the next bit....

I believe he died. Terrible incident for his son to witness, truly traumatizing.Tacalabala wrote:Is he alright? Always makes me feel sick, the thought of falling from a higher tier in a stadium.Pincher wrote:Pretty unfortunate incent this one.

According to Darwin, what went wrong is that he remains in the gene poolAKNel1 wrote:Footballers - Porsches - Alcohol. What could possibly go wrong ???

21 contenders at once!
At least 21 insurgents have been killed in central Iraq after a car bomb was detonated by accident, reports say.
They were filming a propaganda video of the would-be suicide attacker when the blast occurred, the head of the local Sunni pro-government militia in Jilam told the AFP news agency.

Re: Do they still run the Darwin Awards?
"A missing woman on vacation in Iceland managed to unwittingly join a search party looking for herself."
http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/216498/ ... r-herself/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Difficult to know who the real morons are in this. The woman for not recognising her own description, and/or it not dawning on her that is was her they were looking for.......or the people on the coach, who although realising someone was (supposedly) missing, didn't twig that a seemingly new person had just turned up.
Organisers: "Shall we do a head count?" "Na, we'll just try and remember what everyone is wearing."

bit of a bump for a new contender...

I like the last sentence:
"Today's incident will perhaps finally help to resolve this long-term problem," said Zdechov mayor Tomas Kocourek.
Perhaps????
does he think they're all going to rise from the dead?
