OK but what enables the plane to leave the ground in the first place. The plane is heavy and stationary in relation to everything but the runway, there is no lift from wind under the wings, and the force from the jets is acting horizontally.

I tried it on my kitchen table witha Revel kit plane (scale 1/38) and my Ronco record cleaner. Success!The plane toom off and flew away,never to be seen again. Thats solved that one. :)

No it's his brother's plane, schrodinger. Which would definitely take off. Whether it exists or not is another matter, though probably both at the same time (there's a cat in the pilot seat of course).
