That will vary based on where you get them, or if you buy them in a deal box like I have.

You can find them individually priced here : https://drydrinker.com/shop/pick-your-own-beer-boxes/

Most of them are around £2 each from that site, which is toppy, but some will be available from Supermarkets.

I was out Saturday night with some mates at one of their houses. I was designated driver so took some Brew Dog Nanny State beers with me. Had a peroni first but then onto the Nanny State. Tasted great and didn't feel like I was the non drinking driver at all.

Quite liking the idea of it to be honest

Yep, they have certainly improved.

I’m currently drinking a Punk AF as I type which has also grown on me. Punk and Hazy AFs are my go to options currently, and I order them from BrewDog direct.

Brewdog have an AF sale on currently (Punk AF x 24 for £17.95!), and now have Hazy AF back in stock and a new 'Elvis AF' too.

Slight issue in that today they are 'giving away' 4 Lost Lagers per person, and now there are 80,000 in the queue to get on the website

Don't really get the excitement, they still want £1.95 for P&P so actually 4 lagers for £2, surprised its generated that much interest.
Pretty annoying as I had my order in my basket early doors, then got distracted and came back to buy them later on and I was suddenly 50,000th in a queue

On a good run currently!

As lager doesn’t taste of much, when the alcohol is removed it leaves an odd flavour.

However, with IPAs they have enough flavour that the lack of alcohol isn’t as obvious

Dry(ish) Drinker

Post by jacksosi »

'Stryyk Not Gin' - it's actually pretty decent! Enough of the botanicals taste to make it gin like, ideal for a school night :)

Serving suggestion, add some crushed watermelon 8-)

Once January has gone I will bore-off for another year ;)

The combination of watermelon with white gin - top. I also like to add peach, orange or pineapple to gin. But only one fruit, so that there is no over-mixing of tastes.

I'm off booze now for a month, quite possibly a lot longer (out of choice, not drastic health problems). If anyone has any updated tips (lager/beer not spirits) they'd be very much appreciated.

Guinness 0% is decent

Stella AF and Punk AF are cheap and drinkable depending on whether you want a lager or an IPA.

Other than that, perhaps try a pick your own box from the DryDrinker site, but it's not cheap :)

Idaho 7 IPA - 3/5
Sabro Galaxy DDH - 4/5

I'm definitely preferring the DDH* versions, although in general I would say there are too many options as they are all similar, they could reduce the 6 options to 2 !

*What is a DDH pale ale?
While there is no way to guarantee how this term is defined for each beer, DDH simply means that the beer has been dry hopped with a lot of hops and the consumer should expect increased flavors and aromas from those hops
