Thanks Murf. You've been posting on Fiso for as long as I can remember, must be 15+ years now?

Apparently the name comes from the phrase 'it's as easy as making Duck soup' I've not heard of that before!

Must be over 15 years (the 'joined' bit under our names is nearly 14 years ago but that was only from when the site moved)

I started when I was living in Surrey and I left there in about 2002 so maybe even 20 years or not far off!

I know Duck Soup (Marx Brothers film if nothing else!) but not the phrase it comes from.

I think the earliest I remember posting/reading the forum was around 2001. I think I asked you to make a transfer for me one year I was going on holiday!

Had a shocker last year in the FPL so hoping for better luck this year.

I remember helping people do transfers and asking for help. So much easier these days with apps.

Admin just told me he started FISO in March 2000 so nearly 20 years. I wasn't there in the very early days. Probably in time for 91/92 season?

This takes me back a few years. I was always a TFF man, and chuffed to get into the Telegraph one year as one of the top scorers of the week. Switched to FPL when I was in a works league and not looked back.

Which ones do you play?

I only play TFF these days. Dabbled with FPL one year and didn't like it at all. Only entered to get my claim to FPL fame - the first ever 3 million team number (precisely 3,000,000 the first time they got that many entrants).
