If you put other arg/ brazil players up youll get 2 of the 3 from my stack.

New challenge is up and thankful it does not involve the elusive Lionel Messi... Still wanting to pack him but probably have a number of the challenge stickers on my stack.

Just in case anybody doesn't have enough codes...

the codes from panini1 to panini7 each get you the relevant number of packs (7 codes for 28 packs). Also quicker than typing/copying the rest for just 1 at a time.

Fini!
It took a day longer than I hoped for the last handful of stickers to trickle through, but at least I finished on the Brazil Shiny, which was nice. :)

I've got 9 of them!

(All my spares were set on England til I got 10 of each (120 stickers). Now on Brazil. Got 8-10 of most (92 in total) but only 1 Neymar!)

This addiction is hard to kick...

Is it worth working out some sort of game where we get the last stickers on world cup final day with some sort of criteria throughout based on the teams still in the comp?

You could do something along the lines of only putting stickers into the album once the team has been knocked out, with all others going into the swap stack. Removing stickers from the stack should be disallowed so you'd have to successfully swap them for eliminated teams. Starting once each team has played 2 group matches.

It strikes me that the swapping mechanism makes completing the album a little bit too easy, as you're pretty much guaranteed that every pack you open is going to give you 5 stickers for your album, either directly or indirectly through swaps. The result is that everyone completes the album in a little over 2 weeks using just a fairly small number of the available promo codes for extra packs.

Would there be any interest here in starting a new album where no promo codes are used (so just 2 packs per day) and no public trading is allowed, so you can only swap within the group?
This would be a bit more like trading with your mates in the playground and be more of a challenge as we should end up with some dead stickers that everyone has already got.

I'm up for any competitions that are arranged - it might be worth starting a separate competitions thread?

I agree that completing the album is fairly easy - limiting packs and only swapping in the group would certainly make it harder.

I wonder if it would be possible to play a game similar to Happy Families (at a team not player level) or bingo or a draft game where you need to collect the players in your team?

Might do it a third time before the WC....

Yeah, you need to use another email address.
I've started a second one using no promo codes, taking teams strictly in order (3 teams at a time, any stickers that can't be immediately used must be swapped out) and only setting up 1 swap rule per day (no editing allowed).
43% of the way there so far.

I've finally run out of codes with 350 unstuck stickers. Only had my final 3 packs this morning.

Got 10 spare sets of England (120)
Nearly got 10 sets of Brazil (120 - just lacking 7 Neymars!)
Got 9 of most Argentinians (108 - lacking 6 Messis and 6 assorted others)

Now have 21 spares and 19 to get.

Yeah, been going for a couple of weeks so I would be close to finishing by now if I'd been using promo codes.

New challenge is up: Collect the shinies of all the world cup winners to get the world cup sticker.

So I’m sure you’ve all been wondering how I’m going to finish the second time around. Last day tomorrow.

I’ve gone for the 1966 World Cup Final revisited with five stickers each.
Will it be England or Germany - I can tell you’re on the edge of your seat.....
