Phil Jones Injury

Post by chickennuggets »

Looks reasonably hopeful (for holders):

Think it's wait and see for me. Not many other options at his price bracket.

We'll see but I'm praying he's back asap. Only option is Davies but that is risky with Rose back and messes other things up.

Like you say a wait and see just hope it doesn't drag on.

Should be an update by the end of today on Jones - after his scan.

He was playing well for England but just came off midway through the first half. Just a knock or something more serious?

Am at Wembley tonight and he went down and immediately signalled to the bench to come off.

Mourinho will want him ready for Newcastle.

Wasn't the problem thigh already strapped?

I was watching the Snooker, and Channel hopped at the end of Frames and saw him on the floor and Gomez entering the kindergarden.

Yes, he had a white bandage poking out from beneath his shorts

Did anybody see if he was, err, clutching the thing poking out of his shorts as he came off?

A firmish grip on the bandage, yep.

So reports saying he's not back this weekend either. This is getting suspiciously like a who knows when scenario and could easily drag on and on.

I'm getting v tempted to move on. Obviously as soon as I do he'll be back so take that in to account. What are other holders thinking?
