Nearly 30 years after the original club left their spiritual home, and 16 years after they were uprooted to Milton Keynes... the present day AFC Wimbledon have come home, albeit to an empty new stadium.

One of football’s feel-good stories. Oh hang on a minute, they screwed over Kingstonian along the way by selling their former ground to Chelsea for their women’s and youth teams to play at. And demolished the last greyhound stadium with a London postcode. Sport is just one big food chain, after all
