Arsenal sack Unai Emery

Arsenal sack Unai Emery: Manager leaves after 18 months in charge.

The defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt last night was obviously the last straw.

He is to be replaced on a temporary basis by assistant and former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg.

Replacements could be:
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo
Mauricio Pochettino,
Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta,
ex-Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe.

Mikel Arteta for me.....
I'm not saying he is the best candidate... just my guess

Arsenal should play the diversity card and support the minority group of the Premier League, the English manager. Eddie deserves a chance.

I thought he was a good appointment at the time, being relatively young and with European trophy winning experience. Seems I was wrong, but maybe as with Man Utd, it’s a case of the fish rotting from the head, and the buck stops with the owners?

Anyway, after Arsene of Arsenal and Emery of the Emirates, they need another appropriately named manager. What’s Rafael Scheidt doing these days?

He’s waiting for the Man Utd job

Mourinho Borises the question of whether he would have taken the Arsenal job had it come up first

I've sent them my CV which includes 5 league titles and 4 champion league trophies. Hopefully they don't hold my Man Utd affiliation against me.
Back to FM20.......

Would keep job to family ties
Just a guess but think Freddie will keep job rest of season so long as relegation not an option, think somebody like Giberto will be brought in as his assistant.
He had to go lost fans long time ago then the players.
Dont expect to be at the top for ever do expect to be entertained as even in Wengers last years in my view we were, and if we are to look past Freddie my choice would be a British manager and in my view thats down to 1, is he ready at mo probably not, so if poss will accept being be a middle table club to give Howe couple seasons then go get him.
We had a long time of watching a team that was worth watching, and want that feeling back.
