Depends on "modern", Clough did 3 big\successful clubs.

Newcastle don't count for Rafa.

And all of them currently in the Championship. At the moment, the highest placed club he managed is Brighton

So, no trophy, and quite possibly no Europe next season, they might not even qualify for the Thursday night circus at this rate. I know injuries have played a major part, but is there really any further mileage in the Spurs-Jose marriage of convenience?

And Burnley will actually go above them if they win.

Does the new third tier Euro competition start next season? A few Friday trips to Kazakhstan and Armenia for Jose?

Demonstrating again exactly why we were right to get rid of him at United. A busted flush whose methods have been part behind and too stubborn to change.

Arguably wrong to take him on? But yes you were the proving ground for his "old\proven is better". Spuds are seeing it with Sess and Parrott not playing but the expensive (and impressive) Los Celso (sp)isand KWP sent to Soton while Aurier plays....

I was a huge fan during his 1st spell at Chelsea and seems like a laugh ie passes my trapped in a lift with test, but wI wouldn't chose to play for him.

Absolutely wrong to get him in the first place. Said as much when Fergie announced his retirement when I suggested his methods were not the right fit for United (and that Klopp would be a better fit).

Another Woodward folly unfortunately. But hey Ole is at the wheel now and the Ole-out brigade have gone quiet for the time being at least.

In the meantime, the 3 year itch seems to have commenced a lot earlier than usual with Jose at Spurs. It looks like he's lost some of the dressing room already which is rapid even for him. Will be s very interesting summer coming up at WHL (or whatever it's called these days).

I mean in terms of a swift parting of ways. Always seemed a curious fit.

Is Poch still out of a job by the way? :?

You quickly become the forgotten man after a year or so out of the game, though...

Cloughie famously said he would have never needed to work again after Leeds.
