Sancho set to be the first England player born in the '00s... meet the post-millennials!

Fulham fielded a player born in 2003 in the Carabao Cup the other week. As the BBC text commentary said, he will barely remember Man Utd being good...

I think this is the player I mentioned above... became youngest PL player ever today, as per BBC:
Elliott, born on 4 April 2003, became Fulham's youngest player with a substitute appearance in the Carabao Cup third round in September, aged 15.

...

The youngster, who will be sitting his GCSEs in just a few weeks' time, was born in a year that saw Black Eyed Peas dominate the charts with Where Is the Love?

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Finding Nemo and The Matrix Reloaded ruled at the cinema box office.

...

Elliott was born 10 months after Ronaldo and Ronaldinho inspired Brazil to World Cup glory and nine months after Manchester United broke the British transfer record with the £30m signing of Rio Ferdinand from Leeds for £30m in July 2002.

He was just three months old when Roman Abramovich took over at Chelsea, two months old when David Beckham joined Real Madrid from Manchester United for £24.5m and four months old when Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for United.

Man Utd sub from yesterday Shola Shoretire was born in February 2004... so wasn’t born at the time of the first Battle of Old Trafford v. Arsenal, a year before the pizza-flinging sequel!
