Re: Fantasy Olympics 2012 - Free to enter
Web-site now updated.
And to the person who is just pressing the F5 button repeatedly & using up all my band-width, can they please refrain, so I can at least see this through to the end before my monthly allocation is used up.
I'll let people know when it's been updated.

From 13th in the FISO minileague to 13th overall, not that this means too much based on the stat above. I can't remember who I picked by I'm sure I had a plan!

I knew Iran would come good in stuff like weightlifting. They often seem to perform well in those events.

Re: Fantasy Olympics 2012 - Free to enter
When I thought about doing this, I didn't realise it was going to take so long to do the updates each day. In the past, doing the snooker or more recently the Euro's, there's only been 1 (or maybe 2) results to type in each day, but when I key the olympic medals in, it's a case of checking every single country. It's very hard trying to look at a medals table, and key into my spreadsheet and watch the latest action that's going on, all in different bits of my screen.
I may have to re-think my competition for next time (or even the commenwealth games).

I did a spreadsheet that takes the BBC medal table and then creates a full league table for your comp.
Let me know if you want to take a look at it.

yes - you've abviously managed to miss all of Latvia's gold medals!!Shaggy365 wrote:It's very hard trying to look at a medals table, and key into my spreadsheet and watch the latest action that's going on, all in different bits of my screen.
seriously though, sounds a difficult task - if you can get a spreadsheet which does the work for you it would be worth looking at i think...
