So the penultimate league table is updated (and I've still gone down another half dozen places).

If you carry on at this rate, then you should hit the top spot around the end of August.Spencer4 wrote:Up to 15th It's taken 2 weeks but finally the tactic seems to have paid off

I seem to be beating my 3 fellow 2-6-23-67 pickers. Not sure how (as I can't even remember who my other two picks were....)
Still slowly sliding down overall.

The country list is below the table, not that us China, GB, Jamaica and Armenians have to scroll down
Not that Armenia have done any good compared to Colombia
Have the wrestling and weight-lifting finished?

Re: Fantasy Olympics 2012 - Free to enter
Well fellow FISO-ers, here's the final FISO table.
I hope you've enjoyed playing and cheering on 6 completely random countries. Unfortunately it was a non-FISOer that won, but I suppose that sooner or later there was going to be some-one that was luckier than the rest of us.
If you have enjoyed, rather than expressing your thanks, you could click on this and like it. Thanks, and see you in 4 years time?

Re: Fantasy Olympics 2012 - Free to enter
Do you really want to do the Paralympics as well? My own opinion is that now the football season is upon us, I will struggle to get it noticed. I know I reached 127 entries, but with everything else starting and people fretting about where RVP will end up, or whether Tevez will play more then 20 games this season, I doubt I'd get many entries at all.stuboy wrote:Can't wait for the Paralympics comp starting next week. And no, I'm not re-doing the league table if anyone is subsequently thrown out. I believe they can keep samples for 8 years, which is why they've been re-testing the Athens competitors recently, and I am not changing this for the next 8 years.

Thanks for running Shaggy.
Personally, I think you should keep this open until Rio Oh, and disqualify the US team amongst any others I didn't pick...

While setting up the Fantasy Rio 2016 competition, I did see that there had been some disqualifications as a result of tests carried out since 2012, and if I've still got my spreadsheet I'll see if I can post an update. Not sure it will mean that I won though.

I think future Comps need a time limit for the medals to be fixed (not as in rigged ).
