Won't be changing any team values as a result of this or this.

Still time to change your entries.

Fantasy Olympics 2021

Post by Shaggy365 »

Thread title changed.

Not a lot else to do for the time being. It does give people an extra year to consider their entry I suppose.

No-one picked their entry yet?

Only 40 days to go.

I have had to change the country list as North Korea have pulled out and Russia have been allowed back in (sort of).

Also I've tweaked some of the values and given a larger budget so it's not impossible to pick a decent entry. Hopefully I haven't lost the knack of setting a hard target, rather than an impossible or ridiculously easy target.

Let's just say I managed to pick an entry of 6 countries I could point to on a map (or hit with a dart, as that's how I did my entry).

It would appear not. Never mind, there's still 150 countries to choose from, which means there are 14,069,930,215 different valid entries. Your task is to find the best.

Another one. That's 2 in 542 days. I'll be honest and say I've had faster take-up rates than this.

29 days to go.

TBH I didn't think it would happen at all, and still a chance of turning to mush with this Covid variant taking more of a hold globally.
I would like to be lucky seven entrant  so I will try and enter by next week

A flood of entries landed in the inbox today which doubled the number of entries up to 4.

If it carries on like this, there'll be over 1 billion entries !!!

I may have to re-design the spreadsheet (but probably not).

My entry is 'in' but it has to go through 20 day quarantine before being unleashed.

Venezula at 79 - I would personally put them at 78 but I will probably still enter despite this.

Looks like you'll have to scale back one of your other picks, or choose Dominican Republic instead.

If it doesn't go ahead (but it really looks like it's going to) then I will probably have to declare that everyone that's entered is a joint-winner. (But not that sort of joint)

It may start, but it could become a fiasco very quickly, especially with 3 to a bedroom 😉

In that case, if it starts and some medals have been dished out, then my competition will have a winner (or two).

3 to a bedroom and you still aren't feeling it. Maybe the other 2 are Image
