That budget is very tight, not sure you can actually pick a decent team based on those costs.

I know, but I still can not find the option of Top 500 Horses.
I have just chosen the fifteen cheapest horses and this has nearly used my budget up.

Re: New Fantasy Horse Racing Jumps Comp.
Once you have selected your 15 horses for your stable they show up in the left hand column of 'Horses in Stable'. For them to score points you have to 'Put them on Track' by moving them to the right hand column. During the Flat competition I received an Email every evening telling me which of my horses were scheduled to run the next day and all I had to do was log in and move them over.Ashers wrote:Sell this to me PA.

It does involve a bit more attention than the Tote 10 to Follow, but hey, it's FREE

Re: New Fantasy Horse Racing Jumps Comp.
I managed a few big priced horses ok. The beauty of this is you don't have to start with the likes of Binocular in your stable if it's not scheduled to run until January or some other date in the future. You have 4 horse trades (transfers) every month so that horses which are under-performing or injured can be transferred out of your stable and replaced with alternatives. These can also be used where a horse is not running for some time in real life and substituted for one which is. Any horses traded must stay within your budget of £50 million and your stable cannot contain more or less than 15 horses at any time.Ashers wrote:I know, but I still can not find the option of Top 500 Horses.

I would suggest that you only do a maximum of 2 stables otherwise it becomes high maintenance and you lose focus.
This is one of my two stables
Aiteen Thirtythree £3.1m
Al Ferof £4.1m
Aupcharlie £2.8m
Bobs Worth £4.3m
Bold Sir Brian £2.9m
Dandino £2.8m
Ghizao £3.2m
Quotica De Poyans £2.9m
Realt Dubh £3.2m
Restless Harry £2.8m
Rubi Light £3.2m
Silviano Conti £2.9m
Somersby £2.9m
Spirit Son £5.2m
Wymott £3.0m
Totals (horses): £49.3m

I like it PA.
It will be tough to get Big Bucks, Hurricane Fly and Long Run if they all run at the same time.

Re: New Fantasy Horse Racing Jumps Comp.
During the Flat competition I'm pretty sure that Irish and French races counted. I'm positive that I picked up points for Juke Box Jury when he won in France because I had him in my right hand column at the time.Spencer4 wrote:Any idea if Irish races count?

Re: New Fantasy Horse Racing Jumps Comp.
Anybody else spot the plug.
We have had a lazy day here....ish....but tomorrow you will have plenty of new faces to choose from as we enter up plenty of new horses to the game. If I were you, I would be visiting your stables right now to see if anything looks worthy of trading in, even at this early stage. As you have unlimited trades between now and 11-00am on Saturday morning, you have plenty of time to check out the declarations for the big day from tonight and you can rest assured, plenty of those turning out over the first weekend will be included by Thursday evening and it looks likely we'll see a fair few bonus point races taking place.
Can we wish a good evening to the guys at FISO....thank you for playing and the best of luck!

Re: New Fantasy Horse Racing Jumps Comp.
Surprised, I'll see if the IT guys can sort that out for you. I have a new facility built into my admin section that enables me to introduce new horses after the original CSV file has been introduced so you would only have the original 500 in that Excel file anyway....I would assume a minimum of double that will have been introduced by close of play tonight.
As the game progresses and we see the new hot novices doing their stuff, they too will be introduced but I'm sure the guys I have working on the game for me can sort something out.
I thought I'd mention this place in last nights Newsletter as I was going to introduce a Forum into the game at some point but, this seems an ideal place for anyone playing to come and talk about it. I will put a link in regularly.
Back later with a few details about what i'm actually trying to do with FHR.
