Guess that I'll have to reactive my recently dormant Betfair account so I can lay off my 25/1 Might Bite bet for the King George. The RSA was a really exciting race even if you weren't involved, but especially when one's only Cheltenham bet to date was riding on the front runner. Anyone know where I can send a box of sugar lumps to the riderless horse who saved the day?

4/1 struck me as madness. If he hadn't had that crashing fall at Kempton and a shitload of pundits hadn't been insisting that he was soft, (based on no evidence) he'd have started at 6/4. No similar value today as far as I can see.

SamD's 5 length lead is down to 2 as Ashers moves up behind. Nevblake is another length back going well, with the hard-ridden topspur. Sorry to report that blahblah ran out after passing winning post (the irony being, his team yesterday consisted of Walsh/Mullins and Brennan)...so the back marker is subsonic, three fences back...

...whip trouble for our leader, no less than five riders go by as the pace heats up. Ashers takes over now, but is pursued a length back by the fast-improving yorkshiredragon alongside topspur. workie-ticket comes next two lengths ahead of SamD. At the back, subsonic is 6 length adrift of dickypick...

Yorkshiredragon and topspur lead by a length from Ashers who's looking a big danger. workie-ticket is 3 back and looks held, muddy is 2 further back followed by long-time leadet SamD and Spencer4 with Sam still going well. At the back subsonic is within 3 lengths of dickypick, it's getting exciting !
