Got the invite but I haven't actually looked at this game properly, don't mind a bit of competition but not willing to just give £10 away. Can you give me a run down on what this involves please?

Dave basically you pay £10 to enter a small comp
The players you pick for auction will be used to generate a team for this league alongside the 'single player' league. At the end of the round the score is recorded. This is then repeated for the next 3 rounds until you have a total score from over the 4 rounds
I think 4 people will be paid out if all are accepted and £130 will be the prize pot (£20 of the £150 going to player manager as there 'fee')
I presume you dont need player manager game itself explaining as youve played already?

In short you've got £100m and you're bidding blind to pick 11 players you think will do well that particular game week. You create a list of players you want and how much you're willing to pay for them.
If you bid £30m for Nani and nobody else has bid more than £25m then you get him for £26m. Nobody else can have him.
If you only get 6 players on your list then PM will automatically 5 others that have not been bid for by other managers. You can determine the criteria on which these 5 are picked - form, minutes played, points accrued etc.
PM offer 5 man, 10 man and 15 man leagues. I've only ever played in the 5 man leagues on the basis you are more likely to get the players you want. The 15 man league will make things more difficult.
Defenders get 50pts per goal and 30 pts for a clean sheet. Strikers only get 20pts per goal.
It's tactical and to be honest a really refreshing game to play. Makes you think.

Jason, anyway you could let the host of the private game choose how many get paid out? winner takes all would have been much better

Ill start a new thread asking who wants in later
