Captained Hummels lol. Can anyone see Serbia scoring against Brazil? Should probably have captained Marcelo.

Having a shocker so far this round. 17pts from 8 players. Thinking of James Rodriguez (c) tomorrow. Surely worth a go? Also have Tripper and Meunier in defence .. is it likely both are rested?
Have Inui and N'Diaye on the bench in case they need called upon. Inui could even be a good (c) choice?
Good luck all!

Having a disaster. Rodriguez my captain subbed off injured after 31 minutes. Inui and N'Diaye both benched which adds to my woes also. Awful lol

You were probably lucky if you got a high score in R3 - a lot of unexpected stuff going on.

I got 42, which was the highest in my league. Loads had majority captaincy fails, I had Isco. Re the captaincy question above, it just stayed on the non player

Setting up a squad for the last 16 is interesting...

I've managed to get Kane, Costa and Lukaku in, which I'm quite pleased about.

Still got Cheryshev in, but I do have 1.8M left, so could upgrade to Sanchez or Uruguay if I wanted.

Squad so far is as follows:

Olsen/Schmeilchel
Granqvist/Carvajal/Godin/Dalsgaard/Augustine
Eriksen/Cheryshev/Isco/Quintero/Coutinho
Costa/Lukaku/Kane

I'll obviously start by captaining Godin as he's playing on Saturday and then see what happens from there...

Bench boost used round 3, still got Max Captain left

Bench boost for me too

Feel like it's worth going big on Belgium. Japan by far the worst team in last 16

lingard/modric/coutinho/inui/claesson
kane/hazard/lukaku

probable bench boost, still have wildcard
can't have them all but bit worried by lack of argie and portugal, are they going to find a way ?

Personally I would want Kane in there - instead of one of Luk/Haz

Yes - you’ll do well to have 15 starters after this round.

Think I’m set on this. Backing England and Spain to make it to semis and also Braz and Bel to get through this round.
