Euro Fantasy 16 - Captain Poll Matchday 1

Hi,
Only a day to go and there are no captain polls on here so I thought I would create one.
Let me know if it's in the wrong place.

Also let me know if I missed any obvious choices off the Poll

well since we can change your captain at the end of each day (if you want to of course. no one is forcing you to change if your day 1 captain scores 2 goals) I have to say Giroud.

Currently I'm on:
day 1: Giroud
day 2: Hamšik
day 3: Muller
day 4: Morata
day 5: I really really hope I won't need to do this, but either Rui Patricio or Joao Mario

There can be many captains though - I mean if your first day captain doesn't do well, you switch him to someone from second day. My choices for each day:

1) Giroud/Griezmann - depends on which you have
2) Kane
3) Muller/ Lewandowski (not sure which one is better though)
4) Ibrahimovič/ David Silva
5) Ronaldo/Alaba
(Of course I don't have them all, just listing the best choices I think there are for each day)

I think the more important question is - if your captain in first day gets only an assist or one goal, do you take risk to switch him, to lets say Ronaldo or Muller.

I'm switching if he gets one assist or one goal on day 1. one of the other guys should at least match that. But I would do it if he only had one goal after day 3 or 4.

1) Giroud
2) Dele Alli (not that many players from this day)
3) Muller
4) Zlatan
5) Joao Mario

So can I captain Griezmann and see how he does and then wait for Múller to play and captain him after I know which one did better?

Or do you have to captain a player before he plays?

You have to pick before he plays. But you can first captain Griezmann, and if he blanks you can switch to Muller before the first game of day 3 starts.

No but you can change your vote after you have cast it.
Will leave it open so people can change their captain as the MD develops.

contrary to Ralfbergs, I do have them all in my XV, and these are MY actual XV captain choices, not the ones I rate better overall

From my actual XV, on the 12th I have Múller, Ózil and Milik so I guess Muller is favourite out of them.

Personally i think Giroud/Griezmann is a mistake for day 1 Cpt. I'll be on a midfielder after i know the team.
It looks likely to me that the french goals will be well spread, better to have your 3 precious striker slots for forwards who are likely to score a high percentage of that teams goals.

Originaaly had Milik rather than Lewandowski, but downgraded half my team to upgrade Milik to Lewandowski. My reasoning is that the best 2 matchday 1 captains are Ronaldo & Lewandowski so i wanted to squeeze them both in. My 3rd striker is risky and cheap i've gone for Nolito.

I switched to Kane and despite the utter mess in points showed, the C on Kane it's the only thing working

Display-wise I mean, the score was just my 5th 2pointer for me

Oh well on to Neuer for tomorrow, hoping to add some save point to a CS

Definitely, did it this morning.

Did you click "confirm" afterwards? The site can be fiddly until you get used to it.

Fortunately I managed to get the armband on Schär anyway.

Has to be. 6 points isn't enough really. Lewa only needs 1 goal and it's all upside from there.
