as Taca said earlier, having a fair idea of which team will get through,
would help us in planning our MD3 transfers, especailly for those who'll play their WC now as would only have the 6 regular FT for the semis

I was about to prepare some nice table, but I see UEFA already provided for that!

http://www.uefa.com/under21/news/newsid=2260091.html
Group A standings
Fixtures: Germany (4) v Czech Republic (3 points); Denmark (3) v Serbia (1)

• Germany (+3 goal difference)
  • will be through with a draw irrespective of what happens in the other game.
If they win, they are guaranteed top spot and to face the runners-up from Group B in the second semi-final on Saturday.
    • If they lose, they will still progress if the other match finishes in a draw courtesy of their superior head-to-head record against Denmark.
If they lose and Serbia win, then group goal difference will come into play as the two sides drew their opening fixture.
If Germany lose and Denmark win then they are out.
• Czech Republic (+3)
  • will be through with a win and out if they lose.
A draw will be enough if Serbia win the other match, but not if it finishes in a draw as Denmark beat the Czechs in their opening game.
• Denmark (-2)
  • will be through with a win.
A draw would also be enough providing Czech Republic do not beat Germany.
    Lose and they are out.
• Serbia (-4)
  • need a win against Denmark to keep their semi-final hopes alive.
    • If they win and Germany do likewise then they will be through;
should they win and the Czech Republic win too, then Serbia would finish level on four points with Germany. In this scenario, overall goal difference would come into play as the teams drew their opening game.
A more detailed breakdown of the permutations can be found here
http://www.uefa.com/under21/news/newsid=2260393.html
Group B standings
Fixtures: Portugal (4) v Sweden (3); England (3 points) v Italy (1)

• Portugal (+1 goal difference)
  • will be through with a win or a draw.
    • They would also progress if they lost and England drew with Italy.
If Portugal lost and Italy beat England, goal difference would decide which of the two – Portugal or Italy – advanced as the teams drew their direct encounter. (*)
If Portugal lose and England win then they are out but would be in an Olympic play-off.
• England (0)
  • will advance with a win,
while a draw will take them through so long as Sweden fail to beat Portugal in the other match.
If they lose to Italy, they will be eliminated.
• Sweden (0)
  • will progress with a victory,
while a draw would be enough only if Italy beat England in the other game.
If they lose and England win, then they would be in an Olympic play-off.
• Italy (-1)
  • will go through only if they beat England and Sweden lose to Portugal. [or win: see above (*)]
They cannot qualify for an Olympic play-off irrespective of results on Wednesday.
A more detailed breakdown of the permutations can be found here.
only Germany and Portugal have strong chances to qualify for Semis

Does the olympic play-off count towards your fantasy points? Surely not as the 2 teams are technicaly eliminated from the tournament.

There is no clarification on eufa

I think an Olympic play-off would be off the game.

Ha ha, realised the games were today about 5 minutes before deadline.

A quick panicky wildcard later played with 13 seconds to go - no idea what I was doing at the time except points chase - I think I only made 4 changes looking back (super wildcard indeed). So, thanks for the lineups fred. :D

Totally forgot about it and was doing ok. Then again, did fairly well GW2 so same teams won't be a problem.

Nice results for England as they're probably more likely to finish second if they do go through, avoiding ze Germans.

I wouldn't be that worried, they aren't as special as all the talk. Then again, neither are England.

The obvious one is Kane again, even if it is fairly likely to be low scoring, or even Berardi. I think Portugal will overpower Sweden too, but their most likely scorer is not obvious - couldn't even tell you who will start as their strikers, it's been two different pairs so far. Maybe Silva the best bet for points from them.
