Summer sidegame - you in?
I won't be doing a pairs sidegame for the Under 21s this summer, just fancy a break from doing a more organisational heavy thing (obviously I won't stop anyone else from volunteering) and the World Cup shambles last year pissed me off
However, I will be playing the UEFA Under 21 game, and intend to play a Copa America one that will pop up on one of the Spanish language sites, so I'm happy to put together a simple combined league for those who want to do the same - who's interested?

That's the spirit! I'm going to try out a Mexican website for Liga MX later, I suspect they might run one.

Re: Summer sidegame - you in?
A bit off topic, but it's worth pointing this out. Copa America is being shown on Premier Sport this summer, and they have this ridiculous offer on of 2 months for £1 - http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/prem ... rs-2209475
Tried it myself and it actually works. Obviously you'll want to cancel with 30 days notice, but I doubt that'll be much of a hassle.

Re: Summer sidegame - you in?
I can see us having to do a predictor comp for the Copa, no fantasy yet and a little over a fortnight to go. I was thinking, depending on how many people enter the Under 21s on here, no reason not to do a knockout comp (with repechage?) just for a bit of added interest.

Re: Summer sidegame - you in?
Bored with nothing of interest going on so had a look around as well and there doesn't seem to be anything! Found Mondogoal daily play, they have Copa America and Womens world cup!Tacalabala wrote:Just bumping. Just entered a Women's team in the free to enter game £25 first prize only 24 entrants so far, anyone else ever played this? Taca could you make a side game if we entered daily and posted scores? (with a side chance of winning cash in the game for small entry fees, or head to heads against each other?)

Re: Summer sidegame - you in?
Can't say I'm that up for the Women's WC, not because I'm not watching (I will), but it's that at some point you'll have three things on the go (WWC, CA, U21), which is a bit much.
I'm very surprised that there isn't an FF for CA, even in Spanish, just seems like a massive opportunity being passed on. So, is everyone happy to do a regular predictor comp for Copa America? Will get it up and running by late tomorrow night if so.

Re: Summer sidegame - you in?
Yes i'll be up for a predictor comp, didn't word the previous post well I wasn't suggesting a womens side game, just mentioning that I'd seen/entered it.I was questioning could you devise a CA game based on daily play, probably not but worth asking.

I'm going to go with SuperBru, looks very professional. I've PMed Mick Mac as he has been running loads of SB comps and I didn't want to invade his turfMoist von Lipwig wrote:There's a CA predictor on superbru if you want to run one on there a save any hassle.

McDonalds u21 game is still in test mode. Not liking the scoring system much. I really think that the points for dribbling and tackling should massively outrank scoring goals and keeping clean sheets
