Not sure if it's just me, but whilst my points total appears to have updated on the "My Team" page in the FIFA game, it's not updating my points in the overall league or mini league, so I've plummeted in both since last nights match :?

Same happened with me. Some people in one of my leagues have had their score updated and mine hasn't. My 70-odd point lead has disappeared and they're crowing.....be amusing to see their face when my 76 from last night DOES eventually get added on.

Looks like the 3/4 place playoff doesn't count. Any confirmation?

I am not expecting it to become clear until the transfer window opens and I filter to include 'Only available players'. That's in 13 hours, or thereabouts,

Of course now, in some way, the boys in Orange have a chance to do for the Brazilians what their own team couldn't manage - beat Argentina and then deny a Germany side that must now believe they have one hand on the trophy.

Lucky you! I had 10 players playing last night and my captain, Hummels, was the lowest scoring of all ten. If the guy was going on holiday during the second half, he could at least have been considerate enough to have contributed to the massacre.

So today I've got to make my captaincy choice between, Garay, Rojo, and Blind.    I can't put a more offensive player on the pitch as I don't have a spare slot, as I can't remove a decent points scorer from yesterday.

I had Hummels last night as I thought Brazil would be playing and he would get defensive points..
I'm going to have to dump a player to bring in Robben though. Hummels will go for De Vrij and may boot Gustavo for Robben. It's a 13 point hit so I need ot to come off!

Phew, thought I was alone for a moment there! Thankfully it's just updated and I've gone up to my correct place in the leagues now 8-)

Think I'll be taking out Hummels and Luiz for Blind and Messi tonight, will wait for the lineups before confirming though.

There's a post earlier asking re the 3rd/4th place match counting; not sure yet, as one part of the site suggests not (as just "final" is listed under player limits and rounds sections), but under fixtures, the 3rd/4th place match is mentioned. Will know more when the next transfer window opens I s'pose. Would have helped if the site had originally been written in english

Hummels and Luiz departing for me too - to be replaced by 2 of Mascherano, de Vrij and Georginio depending on line-ups tonight

After messing up with Hummels, captain choice tonight is my biggest concern....Rojo, De Vrij, Mascherano, Messi and Robben to choose from!

I had 6 Germans in my line up and I manage to pick the one with the lowest score as captain.

Was wondering if those with Brazilian defenders scored many points? Was it like the Spanish defenders when they gave up 5 goals to Holland?

I only have David Luiz and he scored 6 points:

Balls recovered: 5 Pts
Goals Conceded: -3 Pts
Fouls (every 3 fouls): -1 Pts
Every 2 balls delivered into penalty area: 2 Pts
Played minutes: 3 Pts

I see that they've updated Luiz's score.

How can a player who concedes 7 goals get positive points

Yep, but this time their opposition will be eleven players who've also just been knocked out at the crucial semi-final stage. 22 dejected players who wish they weren't there playing the equivalent of a glorified testimonial game, can't wait!

He's just gonna go straight thru Messi and then come off ...

Can't think of one outfield premiership player who's done particularly well, goalkeepers Howard and Krul did well, possibly Kompany although maybe not for Higuain's goal.

Brazil's problems were at the back, far too loose and full backs up field plus Luiz did what Luiz always does. How on earth would Coutinho have altered that? Liverpool's defence wasn't the best last season.

Krul is pushing it! Vlaar? Zabaletta and lately Demichelis have done ok.

Other than defenders it's really bare though.
