Feedback, please, on impact of US schedule changes next year:

Notes
Currently, first six events are spaced a month apart between April and Sept.
Next season, this sequence of six begins in March.

So, the 2019 Players will be first big tournament, moving two months forward.
Should Fiso Series begin in March or with Masters, as now, in April?

Gap between 2019 Tour finales will be three months (one month longer).
Should Dubai event be discarded or replaced in Fiso game?

Thus Series could cover five or six events, perhaps with one mulligan score discarded.
Or game could continue in present format but with longer wait to event seven.

Thoughts on the competition are welcome, as always.

I really enjoy this game and to be fair nothing would be a "deal breaker" for me. But personally I do like the 7 events format. See the point of raising this though with such a gap between the penultimate and last tournament. I'd be happy to leave as it is but if there's an alternative "big" event before dubai I wouldn't have a huge issue with replacing the dubai one if that would help the flow of the game. Isn't that the one that only has about thirty golfers competing?

7 tournaments i think is the ideal number.

My personal thought is that the dubai is a bit of a long wait,Just looking at some of the scheduling there is a WGC in mexico on 21st february and it looks like the bmw at wentworth might be moved to september.so maybe put one of those tournaments in

I'm not particularly bothered by the season being stretched. My reservation about stopping at the Tour Championship is the lack of entrants and therefore choice leaving perhaps some more tactical picks?

Prizes (£50 total)
Top three performers - over best five of the seven events - will receive awards.
So you may miss or labour in a tournament or two but still be in contention.
Overall winner earns a free bet to the value of £20 on any sports event.
Top three also receive a Fiso Sports Champion designer mug.

How To Play
Every golfer in the field is allocated a rating.
To enter, simply pick a team of five from the list further below.
Ensure your team's combined rating doesn't exceed 20.
Please post afresh if you change your mind (do NOT edit original).
Deadline to provide selections is 1600 BST, Thurs 20 Sept.
You may request up to two team changes between Rounds Two and Three.

Event Scoring
Points are based on a golfer's performance against par in each round;
eg: two under par = -2 pts.
Lowest combined points total over four rounds will determine an event winner.
Where scores are level, tie-break sequence is as follows:
lower total rating;
fewer number of transfers used;
earlier unedited entry post-time.
A golfer who doesn't complete 18 holes earns +3 for the round.

Fiso Series scoring
Points are awarded to the leading 30 finishers in each event as follows:
40 for 1st place
35 for 2nd
30 for 3rd
28 for 4th
26 for 5th; then a point fewer for each place down to
1 for 30th
After the Dubai finale, entrants' best five scores will be tallied to decide prize winners.

Transfers
You can request up to two team changes before Round Three begins.
Combined rating must remain 20 or fewer.

Player value is based on current bookmaker prices.

Reference Change To Time Of Events 2019

Having given it some thought, I think first choice would be to leave things as they are.

Second choice would be to bring in BMW Championship at Wentworth played the end of May and drop the
DP World Tour Championship in November which would keep the same number of events.

However I have no strong objections to what the decision is and hope to compete again.
