You just beat me to it, was about to post the same. From previous experience can expect the site to be live as soon as the telegraph cheltenham festival game has finished. I'm not a massively huge racing fan, but I do like cheltenham, a sign that winter has really finished. More horse than catherine the great.

Outstanding

I have the post-it with the wrong picks this year -

James Harris - Middlesex
Dawid Malan - Middlesex
Matt Renshaw - Kent
Peter Siddle - Essex
Shaun Marsh - Glamorgan
Liam Norwell - Warwickshire
Glenn Maxwell - Lancashire
Joe Burns - Lancashire
Aaron Lilley - Leicestershire
Joe Clarke - Nottinghamshire
Jordan Clark - Surrey
Callum Ferguson - Worcestershire
More Morkel - Surrey

Wonder if Ooooozie is playing and near the internet?

Rumours are he's being replaced for the first half of the season as he'll be in the Aussie's WC squad, so he might be a non-starter.

Great news! Only 5 weeks away. Havenโ€™t kept up to date much with all the ins and outs over the close season.

Anyway...

Would be great if Henry comes back to Kent, so two Matts in the same squad :D

And Kent play all 13 days of the first 13 game days (2 CC and 5 OD).

Only team to do so :D

Waikikamukau (Why Kick A Moo Cow)

BTW: There's only two Ryan Sidebottoms :D

Great to hear it's back. As ever I'll have one team and will be targeting an overall finish rather weeklies etc. Finished 719th in 2018 so have that to beat this year.

Info - as expected, the telegraph cheltenham game has launched, so as mentioned above, can expect the cricket to launch as soon as that's sorted. Cricketer magazine next issue is out on March 22nd, as ever with full county previews and the fixture wallchart of course, hurrah.
A slightly different and earlier start to the season - just two weeks of regular games instead of three last term, and then straight in to the one-dayers, which am assuming will continue to count for scores in TFC unless there are big changes. Will see soon enough.

Hi, Yes I will be in. In very hot Pattaya at the moment, been here 6 months now already. I have made a tiny start on the fixtures, will get to it the
next few days. It will be ready in time. I had been emailing ducks deluxe for months, but haven't had a peep since January.

Hi Oooozie

Are you missing the lovely weather and brexit?

Don't worry about rushing the spreadsheet - it'll be raining/snowing until May

Hi Jim, I have been missing nothing, but will be watching Cheltenham next week 1st race 8.30pm and the Cricket World Cup is on a good time starting at 5pm here everyday. Cricket is a bit easier to follow as its played during the day, whereas Champions League is on at 3am, which ain't quite so easy. I will enjoy sticking in my weekly at 4.30pm in a bar. Plenty around that's for sure. Going to be an interesting 2nd Div this season with 3 going up, chance for the likes of Glos to creep in, but looking at the inns and outs it ain't going to be easy! https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/45263823 The structure changes quite well summed on on the Sussex website https://sussexcricket.co.uk/news/three- ... re-changes

Hi All - going to take it a tad more seriously this year as it's been a while since I won anything (I have a stash of GM Purist bats from the weekly prizes - remember them?) so any help/tips more than welcome. Ooozzzie I would appreciate a copy of that fixtures spreadsheet when done if possible?

No problem FB its here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing Once its completed it will be coloured different for each competition, easy to read. Will have World Cup on it, and few other sports. Next week will be working on it big time.

Cool

Reckon I'll do the 8 core, 3 randomers 5 team approach this year

The old ECTRFTA

No transfers until the cup might help too (NTUTC)

Hopefully I can avoid the few underwhelming contracted kolpak underperforming players this year

Great to see TFC and all of you lot back again! :D

Congratulations on last year and of course on the wedding WKaMM!

I am retiring in April so will have more time to keep up with this and hopefully get to a lot more live games - might even get as far north as PM!

Will post a new Super League thread as soon as the game launches - three this season I guess?

Good weather everyone!

Been working on my teams and trying to spot bargains.

While it would be great to catch up again Jester don't think Durham get to play Kent this season _unless in a quarter/semi of cup.

In other news Ned Eckersley having trail with Durham currently on tour in SA.

Higgins at an 8-rated batsman? That can't be right can it? Expected to see him as an all-rounder this season.

Yes not quite right is it Bill. Just 17 days to go!! I have completed April and May spreedsheet today, will get June done tomorrow. Not an easy start with just 2 rounds of CC then straight into London Cup very early, and that is all over Mid May bar the final. The World Cup goes on forever.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 2000724003

June now complete, easy in the fact it is all CC for the whole month, but quite staggered unlike last year, better for those who like to listen in,
going to make the weekly more testing, for the better I think.

Hi All

I shall be having a go at the Cricket Competition this year, after giving it a miss for the last few years.
I have the fixture grid up on my website if anyone wants to use that

http://www.ffstuff.co.uk

Its under the TFC menu (gets the fixtures live from the BBC website), I'll add ones for any of the other cricket competitions that Telegraph allude to also once its all announced

For all home games, weather icons will display in each "cell" also to help spot potential weather problems when picking transfers etc, these will display like the icons on the bbc weather site

https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/de21 being an example, sunny, cloud, rain etc

You can limit teams using the checkboxes to compare fixture runs, the header is yellow for weekends, times is first game of day (county cricket pretty much always the same), green home 4 day, dark purple away 4 day, light blue home 1 day, dark blue away 1 day

See yah

Frank
