I was under the impression that FISO league prizes were split between the top 5 managers?

£20 might not be much but it’s better than nothing and could cover entry fees. Alternatively, why not donate the whole £100 to a worthy charity?

The guy who wins the FISO league will be there or thereabouts in the main league. Why give them more money?
Meanwhile, a manager does well and finishes fifth in the FISO league but gets nothing because you’ve decided he doesn’t want £20?

It's the way I did it last season and no-one seemed to have issue with it then, so I decided to go the same way.

It's true the top five contribute but the top two contribute the most. A single prize for the winner was another option but at least this way twice as many people get a chance of winning.

If there is a raft of support for another option I will of course consider it for next season.

Maybe its because of the cost. I will be putting in 3 teams tomorrow. I labour the point about cost because I genuinely feel it is contributing to the decline. The World Cup worked out to £1 a team... Now thats more like it. To get £2.50 a team you have to invest £25 not everyone has that for fantasy games. Even though they might think its great value, if you aint got it spare then its easy to give up. No early bird buy one get one free this year. Can see this folding soon, its so poorly run.

Thank you for running this,Jester! I don't think I have ever entered a fiso league....I am too awful,especially at T20 ,which I really dislike.However ,due to the mess that the ECB have made of real cricket over the core of the summer,I will enter a team,maybe two, to keep me engaged and to give you all a laugh!

I have to say that I agree with Maldini regarding spreading the £100 around....Maybe give prizes of £30,£25,£20,£15 and £10? That way there is still a differential but more folk have a chance to win back their entrance money.

In principle I would be delighted to win even £10 but I assure you that I will be closer to the wooden spoon than the lofty heights!

The top five teams contribute to the final tally so each would get a share - even if the same manager owns all five!

Tele uses the top five teams - would be daft to go for top five managers.... You could end up paying out to a manager who finished well down the league.

One thought if we were to win.... Quite possible.... Then that would be down to the top five teams, most certainly not the top five managers sorry those that disagree but you lost the plot on this. If the top five teams are same manager and he/she has 2 or 3 even 4 or 5 Well done.

The important bit......... Very very important bit!!!

Because he or she would be the reason we would have won the league. Get a grip if you cant see that. Really it is so simple.

I never knew that - regards TFF. I assumed both games were the same. You are right however - I just checked!
Luckily the league I run is one team per manager, otherwise I could have had a few angry sixth placers at my door!

Now...being up at daft o'clock I am trying to decide whether to enter a fourth and final team...

I am aware that we are getting lulled into thinking that the perfect weather will last all summer....I remember years when the T20 was turned into a total farce due to weather...fingers crossed!
