London Cup Squads and Chit Chat
New Thread as suggested
Here is the Essex Squad donated by Jimwinn
Essex Eagles squad:
Ryan ten Doeschate (27) Captain
James Foster (7) Wicket-keeper
Aaron Beard (14)
Ravi Bopara (25)
Varun Chopra (6)
Sam Cook (16)
Simon Harmer (11)
Dan Lawrence (28)
Jamie Porter (44)
Neil Wagner (13)
Tom Westley (21)
Adam Wheater (31)
Ashar Zaidi (99)
And this is Notts
Jake Libby, Chris Nash, Steven Mullaney (c), Riki Wessels, Harry Gurney, Matt Milnes, Luke Fletcher, Samit Patel, Tom Moores, Ross Taylor, Jake Ball, Will Fraine, Billy Root, Jack Blatherwick.
No Lanc Squad yet on website but it has got this so beware
Jimmy Anderson, who has played the last two Championship matches, is not available as he prepares for England’s forthcoming Test series against Pakistan, starting at Lord’s next Thursday.
A number of Lancashire’s players who have not played Championship cricket so far this season who will come into contention, the likes of Stephen Parry and Karl Brown to name just two, have been playing one-day Trophy matches in the seconds during the last week.
Warwickshire also have a bit of thinking to do https://warwickshireccc.com/fixtures/fi ... ch-preview

Indeed, tough start fixture wise but still underperforming.
13 is Wakely, Cobb, Procter, Duckett, Rossington, Levi, Keogh, Crook, Hutton, Sanderson, joined by Kleinveldt, G White and Zaib - Bracewell's departed.

Re: London Cup Squads and Chit Chat
This might seem a bit crazy but is anyone else having problems getting onto the TFC site? I have been trying ,on and off,on two different devices for about six hours..
Can't access a more sophisticated machine until the morning...frustrated that I don't know if it is my technology problem or the site.
Many thanks for your assistance... ☺

I can't get on either DD, and I'm using laptop. Not that it bothers me to much as my teams are already set for this round of games. Surely will be frustrating for those who want to make transfers, especially the weeklies.Ducks Deluxe wrote: ↑17 May 2018, 03:24 This might seem a bit crazy but is anyone else having problems getting onto the TFC site? Can not even drop them an email as I get a timeout message saying the site can't be reached.

Well unless you have your heart set on one of today's players, you can of course transfer up until 11am tomorrow and not lose a fixture as they are split 50/50 ,Yorkshire tomorrow on paper should do alright against Durham, and you can watch you new star player on TV (Thats Yorkshire spooked )Bluearmy16 wrote: ↑17 May 2018, 07:21 Oh dear just tried, this is not good, still not working. The site now appears to be up and running again. Can get into my teams and the transfer page, although haven't tried to process one yet.

Re: London Cup Squads and Chit Chat
The bonus 10 points for a maiden is quite generous - 2 maidens is nearly worth a wicket. So if you are economical with no wickets it's as good as expensive with 2 wickets ☺

Re: London Cup Squads and Chit Chat
Well..that was a scramble...Couldn't even check values last night...grr.....I have a team which accidentally became a weekly...The only day I actually made transfers was the last day of the CC games...I made the wrong choice on two or three 50/50 decisions plus made Weighell captain rather than Wood....I would have been in the lead for the first time EVER..Too far back in terms of points but after the chaos of yesterday/overnight I will have ( bar something unexpected in the late start game) a full XI.
Not at all happy with my team...Hadn't expected Stevens to be risked and had expected Harris to play....rubbish batsmen....apart from that!
Need to make up a pile of points....
Many thanks to Ooozzzie for his encouragement....

Oh,good spot about the maidens,Jim....
Last night in my desperation for info I went into the TFC f***book site...I generally ignore this organisation as much as possible...Maybe it is just me but I found it to be massively out of date...?

Well good luck DD, I seem to remember mentioning Ollie Robinson to you, at a 3, he great value right now. 2 wickets early doors this morning. (and a maiden! yes good shout Jim, that is quite high in 50 over, maybe fair enough in T20) But bowlers aren't really a problem, as you say its the batsman. I put him in a couple of teams anyway.
......and Wagner has 2 who you mentioned DD.

He didn't play more than half the 4 day games last season, and last 50 over games was May 10th 2017, he only bowled 5 overs BUT got 2 wickets. He was shipped out to Kent last season as well so don't know why he stops with Middlesex.Bluearmy16 wrote: ↑17 May 2018, 13:11 Damn only just noticed no Harris, only got him in last week. It’s nice when you pick the Lanky side, and it’s exactly how I picked it even the batting order! Harris doesn’t play many, just dropped him now and won’t be back till cc starts again! Good luck ladsooozzzie wrote: ↑17 May 2018, 13:36He didn't play more than half the 4 day games last season, and last 50 over games was May 10th 2017, he only bowled 5 overs BUT got 2 wickets. I was wary of Harris but thought he might play as in the squad and Murtagh wasn't...

I will leave you with one word....Trott....
