Can't quite match 5th but I did get into the top 1000 for the first time this season (in any division) after midweek when I climbed to 379th.

Should be on the leaderboard after today :D

Started the week in 2420th. Not just 'on the leaderboard' but right up in 9th

No transfers used this week either!

You've moved 1 point and 2 positions ahead of me Murf, Well Done.
Mind you probably be an avalanche flying past me come tomorrow mornings update.
I shipped them all, the ones I had, out for the 6-3.

By zooming up you can guess I had little/no space for Chelsea players either.....

Probably the same for most teams up there but the odd Drogba, Ivanovoc or Malouda should nudge us down. About 30th?

I've got a team so far behind in div 8 it would have no chance in div 10

Think your 44th Murf. Snap on the tinkering side, I'm holding so many transfers in all my divisional teams.

I'm sitting just outside the top 20, which I'm well chuffed with as this is my first attempt at a divisional.

So what are the tactics for doing well in this type of comp? As I say, this is my first go at this, so I don't think I'm much of a threat, and I think of this as a learning exercise really (and anyway, Mr F Frog looks to have this one stitched already with 3 of the top 10). Any advice previous divisional winners can offer would be much appreciated.

I've got nothing to hide (I don't see winning just yet as a realistic possibility) so I'm happy to say that the transfer strategy I've decided to adopt is 5 transfers to get the team into shape, and 5 a month Jan-May (I've splurged 10 already). How does that sound? What would the experts do?

Ta muchly.

Two and a half weeks later, not much has changed. Still sitting just outside the top 20.... just a few more transfers caned. Pretty pleased really.

Hows everyone else doing??

1st in this Div after last night :)

However I think its asking an awful lot to get another c/s and get all my MC players playing and performing again this w/e :!: Second place is three points behind me.

Either way its good to be in it until the end 8-)

Good luck everyone for the last day

Happy boy this morning :D - won Division.
No-one more surprised than me as had Kolorov, VDV and Walcott in team and had decided it wasn't to be. But goals from Rodellega and Walcott nr the end did it for me.
Enjoy the summer break everyone
Cheers
keith
