multi-entrant Divisional Contenders

Post by SimonS »

Found myself with a bit of spare time, and as I am doing reasonably well in Divisional Comps, I thought I'd see who are the top performers across the Divisions.

I don't have any data for Divs 8,10,18,20 so if somebody could post top 20 for each of these Divs I'll update the table.

Table shows all those with more than 3 top 20 teams, along with all others with Top 3 placed teams.

Apologies if I have indavertantly missed you out........

Not quite worthy of your table but...

5th Division 11 (being led by a nasty multi entrant  )
17th Division 20 (despite giving away a head start of over 100 points!)

Interesting stats Simon, you really should get out more mate ;-)
Just wanted to point out that I'm leading in 2 not 3 and have 3 in 11th not 2.
Of us all Ed looks to be in the strongest position to pull of at least one win.
Good luck to all involved
John

Interesting stuff Simon.
I have to point out I'm only top of 3, not 4 (though I think last Wednesday I was top of 5  ).
Sadly it only matters what your position is on the morning of May 16th- hope I've not timed my run too early!
Anyhow, best of luck to all those involved.

Not seen this thread before Simon...very interesting.

Sorry to have not helped you with the stats.

I can still see myself winning bigger all.

btw...that was a hell of a comeback in div 19. I was tempted with Torres and Tevez myself, but held onto Fat boy.

A few more thoughts........

1. Only 3 teams that were top of their Division at the end of Feb are still top at the end of March
2. Of Divisional leaders at the end of February, 4 are now outside top 10, and another 4 have fallen to position 6-10
3. 4 of the March Divisional leaders were not even in the top 20 at the end of February
4. Only 50% of the Top performers at the end of March, were on the equivalent February list

This should give hope to anybody still in touch with a few transfers left

Good luck to all

Thought I was going to slip under the radar for a minute there when Simon left me off the original list

First season I've taken TFF seriously having only played the game unofficially with a group of mates before. Up to now I've been strictly a TFFO specialist so this is an added bonus to be in the shake up in another fantasy footie game coming down the home straight.

All the very best - especially to those of you not in contention in my leagues
