2017 SBru AFCON Cup Predictor - Holder: Metal Warlord ready to defend - commences 14th January

Post by Mick MacPaddywack »

Hi All

This one is a new one for me but there are some old hands (about 6) that hopefully will join as a default. 2013 Holder is Lano23.

All FISOers welcome ... Best of luck all!!

If you are a member of the FISO SuperBru Predictor Club (free to enter) you shouldn't need a code to join the FISO AFCON Cup, but if you do the League Code is daftagar.

cheers,
Mac

Yep

I'm going to remedy that by removing my league & asking Rookster & StokieBloke to apply to SP4's

I set the League up first but SP4 didnt spot that & duplicated the effort.
SP4 has the history in this comp, so I'm deleting my league.

Stokie Bloke & Rookster have now switched to Murf's so I've deleted my league.
Hail the Murf & may the best man win

BTW if anybody has found it ridiculously difficult to find any info about the qualifying route of these teams (in case you have never enjoyed Blind Man's Buff) try the auld faithful BBC here

Good luck all!! :)

Just to clarify...

Spencer4 (not me) set up the now 'official' FISO Superbru league

My predictions comp, which has run since 2006  and this is the 6th running of is a different concept and is now open for entries - click here - plug, plug. No scores just pick who will win each game and throw in a joker or two.

Hey, Murf

My apologies. I meant SP4, not you. SP4 ran this SuperBru Afcon Cup before, so I rate his league above mine.
Your prediction game based on Afcon Cup is a completely different comp and also well worth getting involved in.
I'm afraid I'll get wiped in both as I'm a complete novice in Afcon Cup.

Novice or old hand, the AFCON is still like sticking pins in a list!

My comp is bad enough just picking winners but in this one you have to guess a score too

I think my blind ignorance is standing me in good stead as I float upwards gently towards the leaders ...
oops here comes that sinking feeling again

Yellow cap and I'm flying upwards (not gently).

Shame I started rubbish and will undoubtedly finish rubbish.

Most of the matches had the wrong score. I'm not sure what they were playing at.

I'll be there - and also running the FISO AFCON Prediction Comp which has been going so long that it has being going longer than the AFCON itself (or so it seems but obviously, maybe, not)
